So a lot of people say that lemon is good for the skin. It lightens dark spots or freckles, it's a good toner and it reduces the visibility of pores. Of course, fresh lemon juice is best. I tried using fresh lemons and I ended up wasting most of the juice because although I put it in a bottle, it got spoiled at some point. So are those prepared lemon juice in those lemon-shaped bottles good to use also? One product I saw has lemon juice, lemon oil and sulfur dioxide. According to Wikipedia, sulfur dioxide is used as preservatives for dried fruits for antimicrobial properties to prevent rotting. I'm just wondering if those things are just as effective as fresh lemons.
