the chance of munchen for reaching semifinal phase of champions league open widely..
They beat marseielle in marseille home, 2-0..
bayern dominate the game and prove that they are deserved to be one candidate in final of champions league..
Whats happen with marseille??
with only playing the third goalkeeper, it make difficult for marseille..
arjen robben and gomez ensure one foot of munchen in semifinal of champions league..
starting line up:
MARSEILLE: Elinton Andrade, Azpilicueta, Fanni, N'Koulou, Morel, Diarra (Cheyrou 71'), Mbia, Amalfitano (Brandao 68'), Valbuena, A. Ayew, Remy.
BAYERN : Neuer; Lahm, Boateng, Badstuber, Alaba; Luiz Gustavo, Kroos (Tymoshchuk 65'), Robben, Mueller (Schweinsteiger 71'), Ribery (Pranjic 75'), Gomez.

It was a fantastic result, but I expected a better performance from Bayern. Marseille is in a terrible form recently, and they had more shots on goal than Bayern, which was something I didn't expect. But with this result Bayern is almost qualified and in normal conditions nothing bad can happen. What I didn't like was that the referee(who is from Madrid) has given many unjustified yellow cards, especially the one for Lahm. Maybe he wants to ease Real's path to the final, and that is another sign how dirty Real and Mourinho are. I expect some of Mourinho's friends at the semifinals, Proenca or Benquerenca, who have always done their job for the sake of Mourinho.

Bayern can and will score at least 2 goals at Munchen. Normally, there shouldn't be problems with Marseille no more.
Proenca and Benquerenca are the Portuguese referees who have always helped Mourinho's teams out, when they were needed.

Unfortunately I didn´t see the match...in my tv I could only see the Barcelona-Milan match (which really was very lousy and boring most of the time). I did see the goals of the Olympique vs Bayern match. I do hope they reach the finals. I hope Bayern and Barca can dispute the final match. I think they are the best out there...and well I always have liked Bayern (first match I ever saw of them was 99 uefa champions league final vs Manchester).

While watching a match during the group stage, the commentators mentioned that Marseille had a weird trend. They are stronger when they are away from home. After watching their away games, I have to agree with the assessment. They will definitely go to the Allianz Arena to fight, I don't think they will have any chance of overturning the deficit.

Yes, Munchen won the match in france and that puts them in pole position for semis where they would meet yet another strong team. On paper, it looks like munchen has one leg in the semis or even finals, but their inconsistency in form makes them vulnerable at times. They should not be too confident even with a 2 goal advantage playing away from home. Should munchen slip up at home, i'm sure Marseille is about to score 2 goals against them as well.

Yes, a good performance from Bayern. I think tgis season Bayern is the stongest candidate to win the league champion. They have all chance to become a championship team

yes probably it is a good result playing the chanpions league quarter finals but i think this team can't be considered a real candidate for the semifinals or the final too..surely bayern is much better and probably they win without so much problems ...eve if i think that the champions final this year should be real-barcelona!!

If Bayern Munich could get pass Real Madrid in the semi-final, they have a chance of winning the UCL as they will be playing at home in the final. German teams are always known for their resilience and their never say die attitude. Bayern Munich is starting to hit form after a period of under-performance. With Robben, Ribery and Gomez, Bayern Munich certainly has the fire power to hit any teams hard, including even the great Barcelona.

Bayern muchen is feels comfortable win after thrash marseille 2-0. It is a such a good result for the in next round to clarify their winning. The marseille have to struggle back from behind to beat Bayern muchen actually. They must be strong from physical and mentality to beat Bayern muchen.
Congrats to Bayern muchen for this round and wait for next round.

Hi , I´m from munich . It was a big suprise yesterday that they´ve won so clearly .
The 1st few games after the winter break were really poor but they are back on the track . They have a new trainer and are really strong . Before this game Bayern shoot 20 goals in 3 games !! I´ve played 3 1/2 in the junior section there . Only one thing counts for them - to win !!
