Build a discussion game

Ok, let's all work together to build a discussion. It will begin with my sentence. Add 1 sentence (more than 5 words, please!) that follows along. The next person will come in and add their own sentence. Let's see how long of a discussion we can get out of this and what type of a discussion we can build by all adding just one sentence. Please don't add one after another, but you may come back in later and pick it up. Have fun! Here's the first sentence... "Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed!"
