Where To Go This Holy Week?

Holy Week is approaching and I believe that a lot of you have been planning a break from the busy daily living. The big question everytime a great day -off is where to go then. Some would suggest you should go to beach resort to soothe your soul with the fresh air and soothing sound of waves in the beach. Others may simply recomment to go malling since that is the only time to shop long even if you do not have the huge budget. "Have fun with family", still others may wisely tell you. Well, what to do this holy week is an issue that is as important as where to go? We all need a break from our busy world everyday. Enjoy at least a portion of that which we had been working for so hardly. So, where will you go this holy week?

I suppose you're making a reference to the Holy Week, that of Easter, I suppose. Well for one when I have not planned anything special significance. After the Holy Feast, however, I and my friend go on a trip a week away from Genova (my city). This is also a time for me to take a break from the stresses of everyday life, when unfortunately I have problems at home cohabitation with my family. So My aim is to solve them and we all live in peace and harmony.

Yes, I am referring to Easter. and yes also, it is time to de-stress because life really brings a lot of stresses everyday. We all have stresses that we all need a break. Alright, any problem can be solved when you really have to thought and heart to solve it. At least, you are concern with your family. I do believe you can settle things out and yes, all of you will be peaceful and happy, too. It is always a great thing to see one's family living in harmony. God bless.

Holy week should be spent with family in the presence of God. I will spend my Holy Week in the church. We will have a school of the cross and also PCD Leader's Camp. I am so excited for it.

Hi Kesh, yes holyweek is fast approaching and i bet everyone's busy looking for places to go. as for me, i am hoping to visit Subic or Tagaytay on holyweek. it is not that far from where i reside so it would be the perfect vacation spot with the family.. i wanted to go to Palawan but i do not have someone who could come with me.. everyone seems busy planning for their own holyweek trip.. however, we must not forget that holy week is the time to repent for our sins..we should not forget to visit the church to pray..

Holy week you mean Easter? :) I dony celebrate Easter but yes I have holiday on that Friday. it could be long weekend for some people but not for me cos I still have class on Saturday. I'm a teacher and my school doesnt have holiday on Saturday. it means after we have holiday on Friday, we'll go to school on Saturday so not much we can do on that weekend. actually i want to visit my parents out of my town and stay there for two or three days but I think i cant do my wish..

My mom wants to go to the beach and also some fa away where there is a groto. I would love to travel too away from home. But we still haven't decided yet so e'e still making plans until now.

We can't deny the fact that many Filipinos/people already forget on what the essence of Holy Week is. Specially the working class since this is the only time where they can have a long vacay-off from work. Instead of planning on going somewhere for me this is the time for family bonding. The time for repent and the time for our soul to be refresh.
But if you are really planning on going somewhere maybe you can go to Puerto Princesa or to Hongkong together with your family.

sometimes it is hard to decide where to go just f0r the limited time. so it is better to stay at home than go out.

You are also right conquer! The limited time is actually the reason why I am so bothered about spending it. I have to spend it to the fullest because it is very limited time.

This coming lenten season I don't have plan to go on a trip. I will spend my long vacation with my loved ones, I love movie marathon, I will go to attend a mass, and maybe I will visit my in laws.

I have not decide yet where will we go during this Holy Week But for a Christian like me, there is one thing for sure that I`ll do during Holy Week and that is to pray to God in the church and commemorate the life and suffering of Jesus for our salvation.
