Jenna Talackova is a transgender contestant who auditioned to be part of Miss Universe Canada beauty pageant and she was selected among the 65 candidates and go through to one of the official candidates of the said beauty pageant. After a few weeks she was disqualified by the MUC org, her photos on the official list of candidates online has just perished leaving no trace at all. At first the organization has just shut their mouth but after it was released on the news both Americas and Europe the MUC a joint business owned by Donald Trump and NBC Universal broke their silence saying that she didn't meet the qualifications. The beauty transsexual has just join Miss International Queen a beauty pageant exclusively for transgender last 2010 in Thailand representing Canada. She said to her interview in YouTube that she was a girl even at the young age and starts a hormone therapy at the age of 14 and she was surgery for sexchange at the age of 19 making her a full blown woman. Many help her by signing up a petition for Donald Trump to let her back to the contest cause for Jenna's supporter this is insanely very discriminatory. In my opinion Jenna knows already the rules on that competition and rules are rules and you should accept that reality and move on. I see that she deserves to be disqualified cause this contest is exclusively for real born woman, this is not unfair this is the right thing. The MUC wishes Jenna best of lack to her career. Do you think its unfair to disqualify her? Do you think that Jenna should accept the reality and move on? Share your views. She must put in mind that she is not a naturally born woman. Hence her joining it , being a transgender , clearly violated the policy of the said beauty contest. In this regard, she should just move on and find other beauty contests where she could qualify. I think, from the very beginning she should have been honest enough to reveal that she is a transsexual. That way, the disqualification could have been avoided.

I really don't know gav, because i don't know the rules there. But i suppose, the other gay contestant would also oppose of her, since she is into injecting hormones for women, thus develop real bust and others. So, that would be indeed a problem, because she has nowhere to join and flaunt his acquired gender.

I understand what she feels I just hope that we should not use our own new personalities to push things that in our heart we know what is true. All we have to do is being open minded and try to understand all the things.

Absolutely true Dina Jenna should be honest from the start that if this org will accept her or not so that she should know if she is going to pursue to audition or find other pageants whom she belongs and she is not going to suffer that kind of traumatic experience. I think its time to create another beauty pageant where Jenna fits in. I think Miss Gay Universe will do. What do you think about that Dina?

jenna is already aware that this contest is solely for a natural born woman but still she went on to join it because in her belief she is already a woman, she does not consider herself gay but a woman trapped in a wrong body. but her disqualification on the said pageant she considers as a discrimination to her that she should be treated as a woman and equal to women..in my opinion, she also has her limitations but since this is her dream she must do anything to be able to make it and now she is making history by changing the rules of the miss universe pageant to be able to allow transgenders to join and participate in said contest in the future.

in my opinion too, she should be disqualified in the first place because the rule says natural born female and she is not a natural but an artificial female..joining this pageant can only cause controversy for her because the fact is she is not a true woman. it is not fair to the true females too. she can go on to join beauty pageants especially for transgenders where all contestants are equal to her.

yes that's right. transgender or artificial woman is still a male no matter how beautiful they look we still cannot erase the fact that they are male and nothing compares to a real man or woman..

The rules has been change and that pageant organization is facing lots of controversy this time. Because of that change many spoke and shows their anger that why they allow artificial woman to compete on that pageant where in fact they should consider fist those natural woman who are married and divorced and has the qualities to become a beauty queen and a mother at the same time. Mr. Trump wake up. You are creating a war between man and woman.

Sorry but for me they have to abide by the rules & regulation of the pageant, that is why there are rules for. Technically she is a woman but not in natural way. It's like a pretty girl who exceed the maximum age but still look young can join the pageant and they accept it. (S)he have to accept the fact that (s)he is not naturally born "woman" so there will always be limitation, I'm not being judgmental but we have to face the truth and follow the rules.

I think you have seen the news lately that Miss Universe Organization did not consider the rules but in fact they change it so that transgender can compete on the pageant while married women and divorced one who still has the body the face, the brain and the qualities of becoming beauty queen did not consider. What the heck is happening on Donald Trumps mind.

I personally do not think she should be disqualified. But there are strict rules for this pageant. And one of them is that they have to be born a female. So, given the rules as they are and they have been in place for many years, then she should not be able to participate. But I am sure there are contests of pageants out there for transgender people.

That's right. But the last I heard I think they said they were going to give her a chance to be in the pageant. But either way, she should have been honest from the get go.

That is true Rules and Rules and if one cannot follow that then she can walk away and move on even if she feels bad about it the she needs to widen her mind to respect what is reality.

Yes that is true I see it on the news that Miss Universe Organization has abolished the rule of " only natural born woman can compete" and has change to that even naturalized male to female sexuality can compete and that pertains to transsexuals. Now because of this rule addition many speculations and many protest in beauty pageant arena is arising many candidates have been dethroned because they have been discovered that they are married even if they never bore a child, and divorced women. Because of this the credibility of the pageant organized is becoming questionable. If they allow transsexuals to compete in the pageant why they cant allow married women to compete also since in the first place they are real women despite of their civil status. What kind of competition is Donald Trump would like to create this time? Is he crazy? This is really ridiculous.

sometimes we push our self into something that basically obvious we should not be and if we get rejected, we feel bad. There are right contest, right exposure for each individual. However you transform yourself into someone else, you can never be equal with the phrase of "the essence of being a woman". She just hurt herself in the process.

Yeah that is true from the start she already allowed her self to get hurt and that what she get.

I think it is unfair for Jenna to disquilfy for the beauty contest.Since it is exclusively for transgender last 2010 in Thailand to join Miss International Queen beauty pageant. She has already been one of the 65 candidates. She has passed the first election and she is so beautiful to be accept to be the candidates . I think the offical should not capricious and first admit then deny. I think should continue the before rule which allowed the transgender to auditioned to be take part in the beauty election. Jenna is so beautiful and plump woman .This will give the world surprise good idea , we like to see beautiful lady of Thailand no matter she is transgender or real born woman. When she was young ,she has already become girl. Jenna is amazing for a lot of people.Continue to be Universe Miss. Support you.

I smell here that you misunderstand the discussion about Jenna. Jenna was not disqualified in Miss International Queen beauty pageant in Thailand but she was disqualified in Miss Universe Canada pageant which is exclusively for natural born woman and no any transgender allowed to enter. I think you should read the discussion once again.

Honestly, no, I don't think that she deserves to be disqualified, however, I know that there are transgender contest out there and she can compete in those. If she cannot compete in Miss Universe Canada, then she can compete in other competitions.

I agree on you there are lots of transgender pageant out there she can move on and find other beauty pageants to join in where she should not suffer from this kind of experience.

I am torn about this news too- since she is not a natural born girl and that was ne f the qualifications in joining the contest.. she is really pretty though and really looks like a girl, but I think she should just get over it and join other pageants instead. it is not really discriminating, it's just the rules.

Exactly true rules are rules are if she cant accept it then sorry to her. I think the MUC is not discriminating her and respect of who she is and Jenna should respect that too. And besides MUC has the right to set their rules and they have the right to terminate any candidates they think never meet the qualifications cause that is their pageant and we should respect that.

hi, for me i can not see any reason why she needs and deserve to be disqualified in that pageant, she was really changed in any angle of her body, and that thing can be called another discrimination again to all transgender that being like that don't have a right to join in a beauty pageant.
