Hello again guys..hope you're all doing fine. I've been on leave for quite sometime because of some top priorities in our lives. Well, here i am again posting this questions which I just happen to ask my self and I would just like to share it with you mylotters.
Ever since, I am always the one who do our laundries - am a laundry man in our home. Sometimes there were instances that during drying up in the line, clothes could never really dried-up well especially if sudden rain comes unexpectedly, it means it is half dried and just fully dried up inside our house without really dried under the sun or by the wind outside.
Have you notice that sometimes when you wear it and would have a little perspiration your clothes smell awful? (unless you washed it with fabric conditioner)but, it is clean to see.
Now, if you have no choice on what to wear, which would you prefer? Clothes which are clean to see but have an awful smell or dirty to be looked but have a fragrant smell? Sounds funny but it is true sometimes, right?
Or you would never care..
Share your ideas on this case...

my wife do the laundry so she's the one who's kinda sensitive when it comes to the clothes i am wearing or i have to wear in a particular time or occasion. even the shirt that i wear during bedtime, she do not want it dirty especially the neck portion or it smells bad already after wearing it for more than 2 days.
anyways, if i have to choose, i still go with the ones who look dirty but still smells good than the one that looks good but smells bad.

Zayzay is doing great. and actually, he just finished a year in day care. after the surgery, we were afraid he won't be doing good in school as the doctors told us, children with apnea usually lacks oxygen and that makes them develop parts of their growth like the memory and other hormones. that if not treated especially in an early stage, could hinder them reach their potentials, like being smarter and much better behavior. and thank God, he did not just do good but he even got one of the Outstanding pupil awards. plus the most industrious award.

Hi there,
Yeah it happens a lot, usually I asked my husband to rewash it. I can not wear something that smell unpleasant. I think you give a tough question, I would say neither and I will pick the one that clean and smell good LOL but since that's not the case I think I prefer clean but smells bad than dirty to see but smells fresh. At least I am happy with how it looks (clean look) I can get rid the smell with fragrance I guess but the dirty look??? I can not get rid of it unless I wash it and it's dirty.

Hello my friend, it is really funny. We have opposite choice but you reasoned well enough to convince and switch my choice in favor of yours.....
Well, i think I don't have to worry that incident these days because we have summer season here and I am sure no half-dried clothes on the line...
Thanks for responding my friend..

Hello Mob,
How are you? Happy to see you again.
so you are the laundry man in your home. You are handling a great task.
Well, I agree it may happen in rainy season, I mean there is continuous rain for one week and cloths can’t dry up under Sun there may be possibility of nasty smell especially if you put the wet cloths one over another due to lack of space. In rainy season, inside rooms also cool and it is difficult to dry cloths. That smell will go if you dry the cloths under Sun for that you have to wait for a Sunny day.
Personally I don’t prefer to wear cloths with nasty smell. Of course the cloths should look well too. I mean it should attract in both way on fragrance and looks.

i also do washing because i live alone. you are right that when i dry clothes indoor, even if they look clean and smell fresh in the beginning, when i use them and perspire, the smell suddenly turns into horrible and bad. in drying, nothing beats the natural sunshine which kills germs and other bacteria in clothes.

Well for me, it's best to change the clothes everyday. Based on the weather nowadays, it's really unbelievably hot and humid and that's how perspiration comes in and wet the clothes. And after one day if you leave it behind your door, it's damp and the perspiration gets vaporised, the smell will come. Unless you like using deodorants, which I do use it at times when I need to wear the same clothes. It will kind of stick on to your clothes and the fragrant will linger, which is also good as a 'temporary measure'. But it's still good to change clothes everyday, at most 2 days once. Otherwise it'll really be a bad habit.

Yeah my friend, I got what you mean. In our place, we have a tropical climate - dry and rainy season. This incidents I stated falls usually on rainy season and dry clothes seldom happened to be dried on windy and sunny days. It is therefore usually dries up indoor. This is where crime starts - wearing half dried clothes- whenever we have a little perspiration it smells bad. That's why, in my case, if no other options, i would rather choose a little dirty to see but have an enticing smell of fragrance than wearing very clean to see but have an incredible stinging smell.
Thanks for responding my friend.

I want clothes which look clean and are not smelly.
I know exactly what you mean I have the same problem.
It's mostly malt and it's also in the washing machine.
It's caused mostly in houses which are more humid but it's also caused by the fact we wash more frequently on a lower temp (to safe energy).
So what you have to do is to keep your washingmachine clean.
Wash on higher temps if you don't do that anymore, also let the machine wash with nothing in it but soda and vinegar and at a temp of 90 degrees (it's the white wash "cooking" hottest programm you can have).
Laundry has to be dry within a day, open a window or so if possible.
My laundry can smell great if it comes out of the machine but as soon as it dries the smell of the fabric conditioner is gone as well. So instead of the fabric conditioner I use vinegar (keeps colours better as well).
I have a very good nose so to me this smell is annoying, asked others and they say they don't smell it. I will never wear a piece of fabric that smells that way, it goes straight back to the laundry.

Hi WakeUpKitty, it seems that you really have a very keen on smelling as well as clean clothes. We have a tropical climate and sometimes during rainy season this is usually happens. Half dried clothes and it is only well dried up by hanging with it natural or just what temperature might have. For me as a man, during an emergency situations that need immediate action I have to do what appropriate options. In terms of clothing, I would prefer (if no other options) to have a little dirty to look with enticing smell rather than a very clean one with a stinging smell..
Thanks for responding anyway..appreciate it..

hi,
it happened to me sometimes especially if the weather is rainy season and its hard to make our clothes to dry successfully, sometimes we put a fabric conditioner to the clothes to make it more smell good, because its really disgusting if your clothes is clean but the smell is not good.
