In compensation to the “dislike “ video, there was also this foreigner's “like” video. Among them were ; 1. The pan de coco – which they find cheap yet delicious 2. Inihaw na manok 3. cheap buys 4. fresh fruits on the street , which could be bought also in slices only 5. Filipinos like of singing (karaoke singing specially) 6. Filipinos fondness of basketball I guess, those are the things that were shown but there were other things that they said, which I forgot to take note of. But at any rate, at least, the likes more than compensates for the dislikes.

Obviously likes will be more than dislikes about Philippines. Philippines is popular for food actually. In Philippines, one can get delicious food with a short of money. I don’t eat pan de coco, but I heard about this delicious food. I have a great attraction to eat it. It is also good thing that fresh fruits are available by the side of the roads in Philippines.

I saw both videos, the dislike video and the like video. I am not going to comment about the videos but I would like to say that people always have a choice as to how they would look at things. Will they choose to look at the negative aspect or at the positive aspect of things. We all have a lot to complain about but we can also choose to be thankful. Do we look at the glass as half empty or as half full. It is everyone's choice. I'd choose to look at the things that are positive. "Whatever is true, whatever is whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." Yes, my friend. That should be the way that we see things. And if we can do something ourselves for the betterment of a thing, then let's do it.

Yes, my friend. Put that in your itinerary, if ever you feel like visiting different countries. Discover for yourself why most foreigners would really love it here in the Philippines. Our Filipino Mylotters would surely give their assistance if ever you would indeed visit Philippines.

Actually those dislikes were just minor things. If the officials will just attend to it immediately, then it would already be corrected. It's just sad though, that it has to be this way, that those officials' eyes and minds will be opened. But no matter what, i love the Philippines too.

Hi simplyd. I was not able to see the video about disliking Philippines because I am so busy with my work and I am trying to look for it now but I can not find it anymore, maybe they just remove it which is also a good action. This kind of review being posted can be taken positively, whether negative or positive. This can also be an eye opener for us. Maybe some of the things he dislike is due to our own fault also. Anyway, that his personal view. There are really good things that can be found only in the Philippines. The most important thing perhaps is that we, being Filipinos like the Philippines.

I guess it wasn't on You Tube anymore, because the foreigner himself has already asked for an apology, after it was barraged with hate comments from the Filipinos. But when you try to look at those dislikes, they are just minor ones that could be corrected. I am confident that , their likes of the Philippines are more than the dislikes, specially if they really toured around the whole Philippine archipelago. For me, it was a constructive criticism, so let's just learn from it.

i have not seen the video of either the "likes" or the "dislikes". i wanted to see the dislikes video but when i searched for it, it's not already available on youtube. i guess there are lots of things foreign nationalities like with the philippines. i even heard this husband of my wife's cousin. his intention to spend the rest of his life in the country, after he retires. i mentioned this as i feel, this husband, a canadian national, won't think that way if philippines is that bad.

Yes, that's true jazel. That's why most foreign retirees likes it here in the Philippines to retire. Maybe primarily, it's because their $1 is equivalent to PhP42.00.
