Tasking disabled

Due to technical issues, user tasks will be disabled for the time being. SharonBucks tasks will still be available when created, but member tasks will not. We hope to have this cleared up soon and I will let everyone know as soon as that happens. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

We must keep this moving so that it gets noticed by othyers.
Maybe myLot should send out an Alert too

i diana and thesids but still there are a few already non needed discussions asking why no tasks. yes we must keep this moving so more will see whats going on before starting to type "oh whatever happened to the posts? am I going blind blah blah blah."

Yes you're right. I was told not to put up tasks until the problem is solved. However it is taking too long, and they should have been more specific about this problem.
Besides there were two task creators who put up tasks during the last 2 days, and when I messaged admin about this they told me that they could not see them (actually they replied after more than 1 day so these tasks had been accepted by workers and gone till then).
I would really like to put up tasks myself as usual but since there seems to be a problem I fear I would be putting the current invested funds i have at risk due to errors and pending statuses.
Moreover, I have a lot of pending things in my task creator dashboard which I would really like to see fixed, and so I do not want to make the situation worse by putting up more tasks while this problematic period is still on!
I just hope that they will settle things soon now that a new week has kicked off, and that we will be duly informed.

My guess, based on what I've seen, is that Sharonbucks is part and parcel of administration here, which would explain why those tasks will be made available during the interim. For those like you who have not abused the system, that does seem unfair, doesn't it?

Thanks for the official notification. The powers that be might like to note that the 'new task' form is still up and available (though what happens when one tries to submit information, I don't know).
It might be expedient to replace it (and the Dashboard/Available screens) with a suitable temporary message so that there is no confusion.

I do not understand.
Every day, after this topic was posted, there are NEW user created task available.
Either they are disabled or they are not?

Disabled for one day and enabled the next...
Maybe the Mylot admin has another plan?

Although I am unhappy the tasks are currently disabled, am happy to hear that they will return. I guess there were just too many that didn't read the t's and c's of posting tasks. Haven't seen any created by SharonBucks for a while, so hope some are up soon!

Hello GAA, I haven't been making task in more than twelve months. SO, this kind of problem doesn't affect me. I have noticed some of these abuse that is being done by some users in the task. well, you don't need to apologize to me for this reason.

Perhaps, in the future, other than creating discussion, you can also create a notification to all myLot members, like the one myLot did for FacebookThemer stuffs.
