When you go grocery shopping and say you come across a great deal however there is a large sign that says Limit 1 per customer or maybe limit 2..3.. whatever the number is-- Do you listen to the limit or will you go back in line to repurchase? For me, it depends what the item is. I have gotten inline to repurchase before but it's very rarely but usually I shop with my boyfriend so we always can buy 2. I am curious how many people follow the rules :)

I have to admit when it comes to the school supplies, I break the rules. I am a teacher in a school district where 55% of the families cannot afford the basic supplies, let alone the other things we ask for like dry erase markers and an ongoing supply of post it notes. When the back to school sales are going on, I am a true bargain hunter. I will involve my friends who are not teachers to help me get all the supplies I feel I will need for the year. For this past school year, I am already out of glue and we still have 7 weeks of school and several projects that will require glue of some form or another.

Probably not, unless it's something I really really want. And stuff I really want doesn't usually appear at grocery stores. I have used a Limit One $10 off coupon at JcPennys (a retail store) but all I had to do was walk to a different cash register the second time I used it. I got 2 shirts for like $6.00 (for the two of them) after using the coupons --- awesome!

Infatua, i always go shopping with my sisters, so it is not a big problem for me. Whenever we came across these kind of limited deal, we will just let everyone of us getting those wanted item and paid separately. So, in the end, we will have a few packets of that deals. Last year, there is a promotion about the cooking oil which each family only allowed to buy one bottle per day. So, we get 4 bottles and each person paid separately and we ended-up getting 4 bottles during that promotion. If i only go shopping alone, then i have no choice to only buy 1 time. Because i don't have the time to go back the line and purchase the second time.

No but if I have my kids with me I have them go through the line too so we can at least get 3 of the item. If it is really good I might go back another day while the sale is still on.

It really depends on what it is for me. If it is something that is on sale for a price way below its usual price or is something I really use a lot, I might get back in line or go back for another. If it is not something I really want or need or is not on sale for an excellent price, I would likely not waste my time getting another unless I had to go back to the store later or another day for something else.

I am a cashier and it annoys me when people try to break the limit or rules. They do this by using another person's customer card and to me that is cheating. It doesn't REALLY affect our paycheck but it still annoys me. I feel like it's rude for people not to follow the rules or assume that they can get by with it. In most cases they can because there is not much we can do about it, and people get rude and mouthy about it. I live by the belief that unless you've worked in a grocery store, you just don't understand the way they work and don't appreciate the work we do. This is really for any job, but I know even I assume.

lol...I have never actually thought of going back in line to repurchase more items that have a limit on per customer. I just go by the limit and that is it. Or my husband will take a limit and I'll take a limit, but that too would be rare for us. Depending on if we really like that item. But nope I've always followed the limit.

No, what I would do is take someone with me so that they could buy one and I could buy one. And if it is an item that is on sale, I would go back each day. Makes it easier that way.

I never go back in line to repurchase but most of the time I shop with my mother or husband or there is always some other family member so I can always buy more than one if I want to depending on the item

I get my husband to go through and purchase it, too. If it's a real good buy, I might return the next day... or go to another store if it's a chain and buy it again there.
