Hi adhyz: Maybe it's just in your country because I have tried my Facebook account and it has been functional today. I have read my notifications and I have replied to some friends also.

It can be facebook's problem but it can be your computer's problem as well. It happens to me at times too. All i did was refresh my facebook page, it works for a while and messages stops coming in altogether. I have to log out, restart my computer, clear my cache before everything is back to normal. I wonder what's happening but when i'm accessing facebook with my mobile phone, everything is working fine.

my facebook will usually not let me see that someone replied back to me thro the chat box. i have to go to the messages and do it thro that. it is very frustrating when i have other things i need to do when i am talking to people thro the chat box.

yes it is weird when you have lond discussions on the wall that is the reason for the chat box to make things easier and more convienant.
how is your facebook working now?
mine seems to be doing ok today yesturday my whole chat box wouldnt even load but i have been off and on all day today and i havent had a problem....yet

I am also having that problem. I just have to keep an eye out for it to say at the top of the page that some one has sent me a message. Then i have to go to my messages and type back to the person there then go back to what i was doing. Makes it hard to do anything on facebook if you keep having to go back to the messages.

Its back up now. Im not for sure when it started working again though. Im glad that it is working again though because it was a really big pain to have tio do that. Thats really what i use facebook for any way is to communicate with friends and family so not being able to do that really sucks.

Can you specify when this is happened. Because it work fine by me this morning, and last night. You should update your browser to the latest version, or clear your cookies. It usually solve many problem with strange behavior that usually happened on many web sites.

I have had that problem before. It is the actual Facebook site having technical issues. It will normally clear up on its own. However, it is hard to give a time span to expect it to work itsself out. Sometimes it acts up for a few hours, but I had it act up for a couple of days. Sometimes it is because the traffic to the site is extremely high.
