$100 for a fitness club? Really?

I was trying to find a fitness club for me to do weight training, but with the prices that I'm seeing, I don't know what to do. I went in a 4 or 5 fitness clubs and the range of price went from $80 to $200 per month. It's too much!! Unless I start to do 4 hours of gym per day (which obviously I won't..), I just don't think it's worth the money. What you guys think? How much you pay monthly for your fitness club?

Maybe you should think of starting a sport. It is less expensive to buy the equipment you'll need, than paying 100$ per month. Especially sports like basketball or football aren't expensive at all. All you need there is a pair of shoes and a ball :)

That's a good idea! I'll try to convince my friends to play volleyball or handball, but it's going to be a tough task cause they are pretty lazy..lol!

Well the good thing about sports is that all you need to find is a good field to go to. Me as an example I am only convincing a friend most of the time (while my other friends are lazy too :P) to go for basketball, but we go in a field where lots of people are gathering to play for the same reason as us so most of the times we find teams there ;)

Wow, that is definitely too expensive for a fitness club. It depends though, maybe they have free yoga classes there everyday for as long as you want? Or a buffet or something? LOL. You should join LA Fitness. They have a first membership fee, and then you pay about $1 everyday you're a member of them which is like $30 a month and you can go in there for as long as you want. Plus, when you're a member of them, you can join their classes like yoga, Zumba, and all those relaxing classes for just $1 admission :) I know this because my mom's a member of them and she's addicted to their classes, lol. I want to join too, but not for the classes since they are mostly full of adults. Just for the running and stuff.

Wow..this place that you talked seems amazing! Too bad that I don't have a place like that near to where I live! If at least they offer yoga classes or pilates for this price..but no! They only offer weight training and some classes, like bike and step classes.
