Referral Links

Forums are great places to place your links and get some real traffic. I've had really good experiences with forums and if done right they are really powerful traffic sources :)

Well I've been told forums are good to get referrals. Just make sure to be active on the forums because the more active you are, the more likely people will trust you. Also there are plenty of traffic websites out there that you can try. You may want to join quite a few and see which ones you like best and use those more often. Also maybe you can create a Facebook page or a blog if you haven't already and post your links there. I also use traffic websites to get traffic to my blog since many only allow you to share so many links. Just be careful on Facebook because you don't want to get marked as spam. Some referrals links Facebook has marked as spam so you may have to use some site to change the link so it can post on Facebook. Also on Facebook you could look up pages you think could get you referrals and share your link there. I know I have gotten a few Superpoints referrals from doing this.

MyLot admin do allow you to put referral links on your profile, just not in discussions, so that's one place to start (you'll see some referral banners on my profile and those of a lot of other people here). A lot of people use traffic exchange sites such as EasyHits4U, and you could also try putting referral links in your email signature file and forum sigs (provided it's within the rules of the particular forum). Plugging your referral links on Facebook and similar sites might be worth doing too.

I like forums the best, just place it in your signature unless the forum does not allow it. I try to stay active and post every once in a while and this way every time someone reads thread they will see my link to my blog. I also get some traffic from mylot, I just have my blog listed on my profile and participate in discussions.

Traffic sites are good places to do that. You don´t have to buy anything: they give you credits and you use them to promote your sites. There are some sites that also give you some money for surfing.
