By getting things you want, is it you get success? can we count the success in our life?

Success is something that can measured in a number of ways. None of them any more false. It is just something that is very much in the eye of the beholder. There are just sometimes where success is just going to really occur a lot of the time for some of us and for others, it would really not be considered a success, as much as a dismal disappointment.
It is all down to what you want out of your life, what you think the absolute level of your accomplishments would amount to. To me, that is the ultimate measure, the ultimate metric for success. No more and no less. That is just how things are measured and how things are going to turn out. It is very much right in the eye of the beholder and very much something that depends on the person.

Well if you get what you want, another way at looking at it is that you succeed with your desire. So yes, getting what you want means success. Some people want money, other people want cars. Some may want to build violins for a living, or write books. As long as you do what you want and you spend your time getting better and better at it you will succeed.
Reach your goals, be successful but never forget where it all began

Success is achieving your goals. As to what those goals are, that's a very individual thing. For myself, I've got a whole series of goals, starting with getting myself out of debt, then having enough in the bank so I'm financially secure and able to help out my friends and family, building up a business which gets a couple of friends of mine off the dole, moving into a nicer area, foreign holidays and so on. Most importantly, I want to make a decent living doing stuff that I enjoy doing, which hasn't generally been the case so far.

You are successful, in my opinion, if you are able to live a comfortable life and you are happy with it. I know of a lot of people who are good at their job and spend hours working and earn thousands of pounds, however they're not happy. In my opinion, I don't think that this is success because although he seems to have everything that other people want on the outside if he isn't happy on the inside then all the money means nothing. I would much rather not have any money but be happy than have lots of money but be unhappy.

according to me ,success is nothing but to get more what u get achieved before.
success is favorable out come of an action.it is growth ,development, getting better.
it is achieving what u have set to do.
so success is not something spectacular.it manifests also small things of daily life.....

Success can be defined as being able to get or achieved what you are aiming for. So, it depends on what a person is aiming for. Since we have different dreams, visions, and goals in life, success varies from one person to another.

Success is a very strange thing because it is a very personal concept. In my case, "success" means doing something that I love & at the same time, being able to manage my personal as well as professional life. So, in my case, "success" is related to my career... I am not necessarily looking for quick promotions in my current career track as promotions do take their time to happen.
But, what I am looking for is a career in which I have what is called - "WLB" - Work Life Balance. My current job is providing me that so far & at the same time I am able to develop & upscale myself. And, I am thankful to God for that.. That is "success" for me.. :-)
