I was at the vet clinic today ,to do more voluntary work and we had an outrageous case.
A small cat camed, and she was in such a bad condition.Someone, that cannot be called human has set her on fire just for fun.She has serious burns on half of her body, and you can imagine how painful that is especially for an animal that doesn't understand what is happening.
We got her to a stable condition and we hope that she will recover.
how can this people be free?I believe for that woman is also easy to set a human on fire.

i don't know.i heard someone on mylot a few days ago that she can't stand seeing or beeing in the same room with a dog.i told her my opinion and she understood that i call her evil and that i wanna change her.
someone with psichological studies told me that people raised without love and the persons that are emotional instable hate cats and dogs because they feel that the animals receive more love then they did in their childhood.

Phobia is a different thing and I respect that but hating and abusing animals is a different story. I don't think that a person being afraid (or even panicking) of a dog or a cat he/she won't set it on fire. They sure are, as you said, emotional unstable when they do such things and they should ask for some experts help.

It was so bad news. How cruel is that person who treat so bad acts as that to the weak creature as cat!!!!! I do believe that she has mental problem which broke her heart so she can't feel others feeling. What about if the tiger (as cat's family) which are stronger than cat come to her and do the same things to her, will she accept it??????
Cat has the same right as human to live in peace, she is not God, she has no right to hurt any creature. I hope God will open her heart to know her mistake and repair all of the problems cos of her. Amien.......
Human Moral value should be planted deeply on each human heart so that there will be no such kind of case happen.

i have always said that if a person doesn't like animals and doesn't want to help them at least she/he could do is to leave them alone.but many people are still cruel to the animals.you might be right and a mental problem is also involved.i totally agree with what you have said.

Do I understand you correctly that it was a woman who did this dastardly deed? It is usually, it is a young, disturbed boy between the ages of 10 and about t 15 who pull that kind of prank.

Poor cat. That human who did that to her should be burned instead...on a stake if you will.
Is her condition okay now? I wish the cat will still be able to trust humans. That person who set that kitty afire is more like the devil than human, I think.
In fact, I think that person isn't even deserving to be called human. Why in heaven's name would they want to burn the poor kitty when they themselves are most worthy to be burned in some hellish pit?

That's good to know.
Now, let's burn the human that this this to that poor cat--Just joking!
At least animals are honest in their feelings. And knowing that she seems to love human company is indeed surprising. Thank the heavens she isn't a racist!

Some people have no desire for taking care of pets nor even value their worth. some are even venting out frustrations and hate to innocent animals if they can't do it to their own kind. these people should understand that animal rights are being enforced and you can go to jail for simply harming an animal. what? cats? they rarely acts of violence i think this cat is a pure victim..

unfortunately some people have a problem understanding that kids and women have rights, and people in general.so is hard to make them see that animals have rights also.the laws should be harder in this cases.

Hi there pandora22,
Did you know that animal cruelty and enjoying it has a semblance for a person to have sociopathic or psychopathic tendencies, in time maybe that person will become a murderer and no one will even know it.
Hope the kitty's condition becomes better in time and hey burns can lead to infection right? I think you guys already know that are you a vet?

How horrible! Did the person who brought the kitten in know who did it? Did the vets call and report this animal abuse?
I felt guilty enough when a kitten jumped out of my hands and landed on a hot (but no on) burner on the stove and I ran her right over to the emergency clinic with just a few tiny blisters on her front paws. I have remembered to NEVER stand near a hot stove since then with a baby kitten.

yes the one that brought the cats knew who did it and we reported to the police, but we don't have a special police animal department and the police treats this cases with superficiality.all she will get is a amend to pay.
i hope your kitty is fine now.

I almost couldn't read this after seeing the title - just like I turn off the t.v. when those animal rescue/shelter commercials come on. The city where I live has had more than enough animal cruelty stories this past year and I just can't take much more. I wish I had the resources to take in all those unwanted, abandoned cats and dogs so that no one could ever hurt them. Ever. And often, it is children doing this! What are parents doing to their kids to turn out such cruel little beings?
I sincerely hope this kitty makes it and finds a loving, furrever home. Kitty deserves it.

Your story is very disturbing and sad. It is terrible that people can be so cruel to animals. Animals deserve to live and not be treated with cruelty. Anyone who could set a cat on fire seriously must have something wrong with them. They seriously need some mental help and should be in jail for animal cruelty. I hope the cat is able to recover, unfortunately though, it'll be a long and painful process. I hope the cat can find a home where people actually love and care for her.

T_________T I seriously wanted to tear up when I read this. I understand. How can some people be so cruel to animals? How can they not understand that they are also creations of God and we are supposed to take care of them? Not hurt them. Not torture them. What a poor, poor cat. I also have a classmate who totally hates cats (their whole family, actually). Whenever he sees one, he automatically picks up a rock and hurls it to the cat (which really has not done anything to him). I always get mad at him whenever he does that, but he'd just say, "They're dirty. And ugly." And I'll be, like, "What kind of reason is THAT? They're not even THAT dirty and ugly." I really could not understand why some act this way.

some people think that animals are uselles on earth.if you take a better look at them you will see that they have no life, they haven't done anything with the life that was given to them.they are frustrated and haters.
a lot of these haters say that animals are dirty but if you will get in their homes it will make you sick, because of the conditions how they live.
probably you classmate is not aggressive only with the cats.maybe violence is normal in his family.
