More and more, we are being inundated with political advertising for various presidential candidates. Sadly, this will go on and keep getting worse and worse until the November election. In addition, gas prices and prices of other necessities are higher than they should be to get our attention. When someone gets elected, prices will likely fall, as a part of the political game. I do not think it is fair. Unfortunately, people who run for president are usually very well-to-do and care more about themselves than the everyday American citizen. I am honestly not impressed with any of the candidates. I am not totally sold on Barack Obama, but he hasn't been doing that bad. It has to be hard to do much in this politically charged world we live in today. What do you think about the presidential election in November, does it give you hope for change? Do you think there is a chance that we could ever have a truly great, stand-out president ever again? I am wondering if that is even possible with politics the way they are these days. Any thoughts are welcome...

I am not very excited about any of the presidential candidates this year. I think Romney is too well-to-do and concerned with his own wealth to do the country much good. I think Santorum is too much of a religious fanatic and I really don't know what to think about Gingrich, but he kind of scares me. Obama hasn't came through with all the change he promised before he was elected but there is little he can do with politics the way they are in this country today. You can't do anything without people getting in the way or criticizing you. I really don't know how we could get a great leader for a president like some of the presidents we had in the distant past.
