I am looking for some ideas on how to make some extra money. I'm moving into my first apartment in August and need a way to help me make rent each month. I'm going to be working possibly two jobs over the summer and that still wont be enough to cover rent for 4 months. If there is another way to make some extra cash even while I'm working two jobs that would help tremendously!

Before I went back to school I baked cakes and took pictures for extra money. I wasn't a professional by any means, but I knew the basics. If you enjoy baking, check out cake central. They have all kinds of recipes on there to create a ton of different flavors. They even have a recipe to follow to make a box cake mix more like a bakery cake. Wilton showed you step by step ways to decorate the cakes. I easily made $30-$40 for a simple cake. With the economy the way it is, people are always looking for a way to save on their celebration cakes.
I also have a really good DSLR camera. This was more of a hobby. I am not a photoshop expert, but I new basic skills to clean up pictures on some cheap websites. I started just doing pictures of my family. Then my friends started asking me to do their pictures, and paid me.
I don't have that much time anymore to focus on cakes and stuff, but it did help out a lot.

To be honest, a lot of things just kind of fell into place. My friends enjoyed the cakes that I made for my children, and the pictures I took. Before I knew it, they were offering to pay me to make cakes, and take photos, for them. I even had friends talk to me about planning parties and weddings. It was just something that I really enjoyed doing at the time. Word of mouth is what set the whole thing off. I know people that make a living doing this stuff, but for me it was more about just having fun. It was a hobby, and if I made a little extra money, that was just icing on the cake.

Have you tried ChaCha? I tried it earlier this year and made over $100 in a little over a month. Unfortunately they kicked me off for supposedly giving false answers, which i don't believe I did. They are legit and you do get paid.

Definitely not. I am going to have two jobs during the summer and hope to get a job once I move in. However, I am a student and it is going to be hard to make rent with a part time job and school work plus I have to do clinical work for my degree. I'm just looking for a way to make some extra cash in the very little free time that I have. Also I need to be able to do it out of a dorm at the moment and on a tight budget once I move.

Making and selling jewelry! The easiest thing I have made is a Chevron friendship bracelet. People love those things and they sell quickly especially to the young crowd such as myself. Etsy.com is a place to have a shop and sell things. Right now I'm being paid as a tutor. But I want to get back into the art business of making stuff and selling it to others. You could also have a yard sale by finding items you have absolutely no use for and sell it to someone. I hope this helps!

Cashle. I don't want to put my ref link cause it might be marked as spam xD but if you do sign up to it, my ref name is Xemorth xD so basically you only need $1 to withdraw and you can withdraw at any time. I have screenshots of payment, but it's my website so I dunno if that would be marked as spam. I can pm you though. Anyway I received most of my payments within 48hours, and it's pretty good. You earn money from surveys (I'm not really active there so I earnt like $20 also I'm lazy lol) and about $140 from referrals. I trust that website lol. Another one is selling eBooks on eBay, and fiverr (you sell a random service for $5) and hm, odesk, guru.com are freelance websites so you can search for online work there
