I'm using AVG antivirus
Its not showing any viruses except for some tracking cookies, but my system is slowing down and has been decreasing in size(in C dr only) for which friends suggests that it could be a virus.
Should I upgrade to any new antivirus software
Whats in your opinion is best

My suggestion could be Avira Antivirus, which i using past 2 years and really good protector. I make sure my antivirus is keep update and scan my computer at least once within 2 weeks. I happy and comfortable use Avira since i buy together with my computer.
You may download antivirus which is free edition or unlimited edition suitable as be as strong enough to fight with trojan, malware and some other viruses.
download.com ,a site could help to download for free totally.

I once used avira anti virus. Avira is a good anti virus application but it will automatically delete files and folders which are being infected so i change it. In addition, sometimes, it is also annoying because it keeps giving warnings when i can not remove a virus or a malware. Compared to kaspersky, which i am using, avira is much smaller but i think kaspersky is much safer to use.

Yes, absolutely, avira is quite light than kapersky. I had experience using avira and kapersky. The both are very good antivirus but personally i think avira is better than kapersky is makes a problem sometime.

Use eset it doesn't eat to much Ram so it doesn't decrease your computers speed while it's scanning why is it like this?
because somewhere in the developer of Eset they said that the computer is made to be use for browsing not for scanning viruses. I read it somewhere I just can't remember where

My point of view in antivirus software is that if it is meant to be then it is meant to be (on getting a virus on your pc). When I search for a antivirus software I usually search for a light one that can provide some decent security to my pc. I used to have Avast on my pc for 2-3 years and after I noticed slowing my computer down in the latest versions I switched it to AVG. I am using AVG for the last couple of years and I have to say that I am satisfied so far. About cookies you can use software like ccleaner. Hope it helps :)

not all anti-virus software are perfect, some detects viruses that others can not. on my computer, i am using kaspersky anti-virus and sometimes kaspersky internet security. i would like to recommend this anti-virus to you because it protects my computer a long time ago. :) . this anti-virus has also benefits because you can still use it to remove and detect viruses even if it is not updated or activated. however, compared to other anti-virus software, it is much heavier than them. in addition, it can recover some files which was infected by viruses unlike others which automatically deletes the file being infected.
