I didn't know what gotten into my kitten. When I woke up in the morning I went outside to check on my cats. I heard a little meow from the outside I search every where but I couldn't found him. It took me about 5 mins to search for the cat that meow. And finally i found him on the top of the tree. I don't know what happened to him what makes him climbed it. There's a vehicle beside that tree and underneath that vehicle was a stray male cat lying down there. That male cat is the enemy of my big male cat. I didn't know if he chased my kitten that why he climbed there or what. Gosh! I really want to kill that stray cat to leave my cats alone. hehe Going back to my kitten he keeps on meowing like asking me for help. I went inside to find for something to caught him. When he saw me go inside he was like really want to jump out of the tree. He was almost fell but luckily he had grasp on the stem of the tree. I get a large basin and put towel on it to caught him. I'm glad I'v woken up early that day to save him. He had lots of big ants on his body. I removed them out for him. What a pity kitten. Don't know how long he was there. Such a stubborn kitten.

Your cat is a hero , running away and not fighting a stronger cat. You better know that many cats lose their eyes if they fight other cats. They can get a scratch directly in the eye. That's dangerouse. Your cat probabely climbed the tree because of something that made him afraid. Most of the cats I see in my neighbourhood climb the tree when my dog runs after them. (my dog is not dangerous for cats , but he likes running after them and bark.) The cats may also climb the tree to sleep on it's branches and maybe just look around . If your cat cried and yawned , it was probabely because of the danger that he felt.

Most male cats really like fighting with other cat that's why I am worried for them. My kittens are male. There is big male cat seems really strong. I just hope they can survive to him when they are grown up.

Maybe , if you neuter your own kittens , they will not be seen as potential threats to that big cat. They won't need the female cats anyway. They probabely get the food they need from you , so they don't need to fight with him over food. I also think you can maybe make a fence to put the kittens in and the big cat out , making that teritory for the kittens. On the other hand , maybe let the kittens stay always around and the big cat will get used to them or just go and look for another teritory.

Male cats are very, very, territorial. Do you have any where or any group that can get the male cats neutered? that often stops aggressive male cat behavior, plus it's healthier for them.

That is one reason all my cats/kittens are indoor ones! I'd be afraid to let them out - I also don't want them infested with insects or fleas. Hope your little kitty is okay - remember, they love exploring. My cats get in the strangest places just inside our house. One of them loves sleeping on my son's towel shelf in the bathroom closet. Go figure!

My kitten is okay now. Yeah they love exploring every where that why I am worried because they are not yet that grown up. In may cats case they stay outside because my mom doesn't want then inside the house.

Just wondering why she doesn't want them inside, where it's much, much safer, esp. for a little kitten. I don't know where you live or what your outdoor area is like, but I do know there are places in the states where other wild animals have killed cats and kittens. While cats may be able to defend themselves in cat fighting, or chase after rodents they are no match for coyotes and such.

My cats are stray cats. My nephew when he was a baby had asthma that's why my mom just put all our pets outside and never let them inside. And because they are stray cats they are not so clean now. And there are no wild animals here in our place. There are dogs and just few big male cats that can be their enemies.

I remember when my mom's cat's kitten, Suky, ended up in a tree. It was in the back yard, with only one tiny porch light, over in the dark trees and up in the tiny branches of a tiny tree. Fortunately for Suky (and me) the tree was so small, that I could pull the branch she was in down and pluck her out of the tiny twigs! I guess I should've know what was to come, because this cat never met anything she couldn't climb later and was the aerialist!

Actually it's my first time to see a cat climbed on a tree. I really thought my kitten was so stubborn. I just realize that many kitten do that as well. . They are really adventurous.
