Its really a big life time changing story. Its more like a fiction than real. But truth is stranger than fiction sometimes.
The story goes like this.
For five years.
Its been five years since I have a job and until now I'm still searching for a job.
For four years.
For four years I tried to open my own business since I loss my job.
for three years.
In last three years my mom is in and out of the hospital until she died late last year.
for two years.
In our family a long with relatives. theirs already 15 deaths in the last two years.
for One year.
My gf of 10 years already get married after a year we break up and they already have a baby.

Bro,nasayang ang 2yrs ng buhay ko kasi I can't find the job that I really want or I keep on landing jobs that I don't really want.In other words, parang nagtiyaga lang ako dun sa job dahil kailangan ko ng pera para mabuhay.Nung una, talagang pinipilit ako ng parents ko na magtrabaho sa mga high paying companies kahit na ayaw ko yung job.I decided to follow my heart.Kasi your job would define you whether you like it or not.Tsaka yung job mo,that's what you will do until you retire kaya pag isipan mo talaga yung job na papasukin mo.Siguro ayaw mo naman na sasabihin tuwing monday morning "Hay,papasok na naman ako" or "13 yrs nlang bago ako magretire kaya pag tiyagaan ko nalang".I love my current job kasi positve ang aura, hawak ko oras ko,at ok na rin yung sahod at sa bahay lang yung work.I want to refer you to my job kaya lang you're not from one of our affiliated schools.

That's okay. I'm just surprise that you speak taglish in here. lols. But I guess I have some clear view of what your work is. If I'm not mistaken you say that you teach english for japanese students?
Anyway my dream is to land a job in the government. even clerk and rise as time years goes by.
I know the feeling of having a job that you don't like.
I started as computer encoder and have 6,000 pesos basic salary. I was demoted as typist and earn 10,000 pesos and demoted more as xerox machine operator/ office messenger and earn 16,000 pesos. I will be demoted again as janitor and earn 20,000 pesos but I decline. lols. Its funny But its the truth. My salary keep on increasing buy my job description diminish. that's why I resign.

i think the average person goes through 5-10 year cycle. i went through some things that last several years, but things are getting a bit better now. i know the same will happen for you. good luck to you.

Mine is five and please don't say its going to last for another five years. I really can't take it anymore. I'm hoping that I can earn back my life right now. I know its hard to stand up again but I'm hoping that I will and I can. I'm just wondering if you can share your last 5 disappointing years also. If its ten then make it ten.
@moongypsy
Can you share it with us? Its much better and well appreciated if you do.
