palm sunday

Although, palm sunday is over, I am always reminded of it when I see my plant just outside our house.
This is the palm plant with fresh shoots ready to become mature palm leaves.
This plant really saved me some coins yesterday because instead of buying coconut leaves for the occasion, I use several of this palm leaves instead.
How about you fellow Christians, what did you brought home as a token?

Actually PALM SUNDAY has to observed with PALM tree leafs, as palm trees are not available everywhere they use COCUNUT TREE leaves to celebrate PALM SUNDAY. Here no one pays for palm/cocunut leaves on PALM sunday as they get blessed leaves free of cost on PALM SUNDAY.
