Who's excited with the Amazing Race Philippines?

The game has started, and I'm hooked. I watch it every night with my daughter, and she likes it, too. As you wished, its a good mix of contestants. Are you watching it? Who do you want to win?

I hope so too. But I'm not really getting my hopes too high. I mean, this is still a television show and the producers want to make money out of it, and as such, I think they'd still opt for contestants that are "pretty" to look at on TV. Sad to admit but this is what makes TV shows sell. Viewers still would prefer to see gorgeous people than homely ones. And if this is patterned after the US and Asia version, than I guess the participants should have to speak in understandable English, and that would be a challenge for the C-class.

I am pretty excited. I haven't gone on the website yet but I think my wife and I will be automatically disqualified since we don't know how to drive cars. I've seen Amazing Race in the US and most of the action involves car racing. Sigh!
