why do they hate facebook timeline?

As i can see here in mylot, many don't want the facebook timeline as their profile view, and i don't know why. Many like its new feature since it was released and i can't see wrong with the new features. It is been months since it was introduced to users but it was not compulsary to use then. I do not know when it became compulsary to use because i change my profile view to timeline few days after it was release. Seems like facebook try to look more organize and have good layouts like any other social networking sites compared to the past view of facebook which is like made only by beginners in web developing. No offense please. Ahaha. I like more how facebook works these days. In addition, facebook must not stay in its old format because many social networking sites have more interactive views like what they did in facebook timeline.

yes, I do not like the look of facebook timeline .. Although it looks nice but I think it is more convenient facebook previous versions ...

i don't see anything wrong with timeline. and its actually quite handy since you can see your past post and you can delete or hide anything in your timeline that you don't want other people to see.
so i'm not one of the haters. actually i love it. the layout is fun and versatile.

I really enjoy the new Facebook timeline. The only thing I don't like is that our "cover photo" is not private and those who aren't our friends can view our cover photos.

I do not hate the new timeline but I find it confusing. The old one was simpler. I can not seem to send private messages to friends. Or maybe I am sending private messages and I just think that the whole world can see them. The private messages show up on my home page along with responses but maybe I and the sender are the only ones who can view them.
I do not quite understand both columns but maybe in time, I will get used to it. I am not going to facebook as often since I and others have changed to timeline. I do not even understand the word "timeline".

hehe mate great theme and great thing for this forum . I am also hate this timeline i am to old to be lerning new things old clasic facebook wos great and i love thet old thing new timeline si so stupid and i do not love facebook anymore like i love it before thet

Hello erjnsimon,
The one thing I do not like about Timeline is I do not see others posting on facebook. There no comments to what ever I post... just my opinion. I am using it because we have no other choice... we as American like options. Some may like and other may not since we are using them and made him all the money I think we deserved to the choice of accepting that option or not! just my opinion of course.

yes i can always read that too and also on facebook some put it as status that they hate the timeline..maybe because they think it is a bit complicated to view and use but for me, i am getting used to the timeline and it looks good and there are more features that are great..those people who say they hate the timeline just need to discover and explore more about it and soon they will realize that it is actually better..

I used to hate the timeline, but now I'm getting used to it and see the good side of it. It makes everyone's profile unique and easier to organize activities.
The disadvantage of it that I still not like is the slowness. With slow internet connection it takes ages to load the page.

they hate facebook timeline coz they made them confused.. just like what i always heard from my friends, or others... but for me i dnt hate it coz when you see the timeline at first of course u'll get confuse but after awhile you'll realized its a good one.. and so unique
