In the last week afghanistan and Ireland qualified for the T20 worldcup so will they be able to match up with the top teams in the shorter format. The Ireland is one team who are unpredictable as they have also shown in the last worldcup,as they have beaten england in the 2011 worldcup. So will they be able to stand up against the bigger teams?

I am more happy for Afghanistan than Ireland. The people of this war ravished country are now getting at least some chance to take part in Internationale sports. Especially women who have been all these years condemned to a life within the four walls of their houses. They need to get more and more exposures so that they are given a chance to get out of the torturous period they have gone through

The afghan people have to come out of the war and should be free to compete in any form.Yes the women should get some freedom and live freely.

In my opinion, Ireland have a better chance than Afghanistan to go far in the T20 World Cup. They are a really good fighting team. They showed their fighting spirit in the ICC World Cup. But then again, Afghanistan might surprise us as well...

Yes Ireland has the better chance and in the finals of the Qualifier Ireland won against afghanistan in a convincing manner. They can surprise many teams in this years T20 World cup.

Both these team deserve the place in the T20.
Both perform well.
Ireland is a good bowling team, with three good batsmen.
and Afghanistan surely have some all round talent.
so lets hope they will make some turn around like what Bangladesh did in the recent past.

i dont think they would make to the big spot however, ireland has got caliber to turn the tables when it is least expected. I expect things to go their way may after 3-4 years.
