I think those supplements are good. As far as I know prenatal vitamins contain vitamin A,C, B-complex, iron, and those are said to be good to prevent or stop hair loss. For me castor oil helped... I lost half of my hair's thickness last year due to severe anemia, and this oil helped to stop the shedding even before I was treated for it. I mixed the castor oil with some coconut oil or olive oil, and applied it on my scalp. I let it on for at least an hour, then shampooed my hair, and repeated this before every wash. It's not easy to remove, but in about four to six months my hair loss stopped completely. If you like millet, that's also good for hair, and foods which are rich in protein.

I don't know if those supplements will help or not, but a lot of women have problems with thinning hair as they get older, the way men do. As a matter of fact, some women have what is called "male pattern baldness," where the hair is lost at the forehead. You won't go bald, though your hair can become quite thin. There is one product that I have tried and liked, called "Nisim." It's an herbal shampoo and it does work. They say you have to use it every day, but it dries my hair so I use it every other day and it seems to be working anyway. It removes a certain oil that is produced by hormones (sorry, I can't remember the specifics).
