I've noticed that phones are both increasing and decreasing in size. Android phones tend to get bigger, while iphones smaller. Which direction do you think they will go? There are benefits to a big or small phone but which one outweighs the other?

I think they will get bigger to accommodate more and more programs and apps. Not that the technology isn't there to fit it all into a small area, but that human fingers and eyes need a little more space to operate everything. Full cellphone keyboards are tiny now and can't get much smaller, for instance. I think cellphones/computers will eventually be combined into one comprehensive unit so that you can do everything with one appliance. You'll be able to take photos, shoot video and send them through email besides sending regular email, read the news or read a book, surf the web, make local and long distance phone calls... what else do you use a cellphone or computer for? The technology is there now. It's just a matter of time before it's all combined and it will take a larger piece of equipment to use it all.

i think it will get smaller for the coming 20 years and maybe in the future after that science will be bored from small one so they go back to the big one, hahh, i do not like smart phones anyway i feel sceince wasting their time in something nice but not as important as invinting more important things such as what i do not know but i think they can do better in their inventions
