Will you love not knowing if you'll be loved back ?

Some friends of mine tried different relationships that didn't work.
One of them said that he really wants to fall in love. He said he doesn't expect to be loved back if it's not meant to be, he just wants to experience that feeling.
I read somewhere that in order to be loved you must be ready to love because that's how you'll be loved.
What do you think ? Will you love not knowing if you'll be loved back ?

Yes I am willing to love even I know that I am not being loved back. Because love has no conditions. If you love a person then you should not ask something in return. Love truly but don't wait for the person to love you back coz the true meaning of love is giving not asking. Just be patient and take some time to relax, keep loving the person you love, show him how sincere and devoted you are to him/her and who knows someday you may get the love you deserve.

I am afraid to declare my love for a person whom I not sure if can love me back. I think this is just normal. I admire people who are able to do the opposite. I consider them courageous because they are able to love a person even though they know the risk and that risk is to get hurt.

love is mutual feeling, i think if you love someone that one will love you in away or another, but of course i will want the one i love to love me back or my love to that one will fade because for love is feelings and situations and days a long relation so if the other one did no twork ot build this relationship with me sure it will vanish. thats how we love the same person for ever if he or she worked to gain our love also, so love is 2 way not one way.

I would love the person I really love not knowing that he would not love me back. Because it's better to take chances and to let him know what I really feel for him rather waiting for him to make the first move.

Probably i would as i would be able to express what i feel. It is more likely that when you show someone your affection that he/she would reciprocate back, but in such a case there is none, it would be enough just to show or express my affection as i know i would be happy in a way.

I do think that I will love someone even if he does not love me back but there are limits. I won't be let myself down and just dream of what could happen between us, I would rather accept other loves. I would rather be loved than love someone and get nothing in return. I know that sounds pretty selfish but I do think that there are times where you have to take care of yourself and not let yourself be used.
