Good Luck to you. Have you decided how you are going to go about learning it? Do you know any at all or will it be a clean slate for you? I know some but not a lot.

I am a total blank slate and I have gotten a few podcasts from itunes and listed to them on my ipod. But, I think I am going to take classes at Kent
state to really learn to speak the language.

Wow I want to learn Spanish too. I think it's one of the most-used and most important language to learn as I read somewhere. I want to learn French too and Italian. I want to learn so many languages. I want to speak fluently in each of the languages I learn.

I know a little bit of Spanish but would love to learn more. I try speaking it with the housekeepers and maintenance men at work. I also considered trying to find a penpal who I could write to in Spanish.

I am also learning Spanish for more than a year. However, since I am always busy during the start up to the end of school year, I cannot focus on it much. I cannot travel as much as I want to just like you. I have to help my family in finances that is why I don't have enough money for that. I love to go to Spanish speaking countries too if ever I will have the opportunity. As of now, I am learning Spanish by myself and with the help of my other friends too. It is really a beautiful language and I love it. I also love to sing Spanish songs which I know enhance my vocabulary .

Fantastic! It's great that you decided to learn another language. Spanish is a nice langua to learn, I know some words but not an expert. I do love listening to their music. For me, it sound passionate and soulful. If you did enrol in a class, practice it whenever you get the chance socthat it will never be lost and you'll be a bilingual ur even multilingual. It is fun to learn new languages, especially if you appreciate their culture and heritage. Good luck!
