For me it's the technical stuff. I love being able to master a new turn, routine, jump, kick, skill etc. I want to be the best I can be while dancing. I love the challenges dance provides. Dancing is also acting in a way if you think about it. Each dance routine has its own speical feel, and story that needs to be portrayed by the dancers. Dance is a sport, it is also an art. Dancers are artists and many don't understand that concept, so many don't understand the art of dancing. I also love to dance because you get to dance your heart out with others that share that same passion. A dance studio is a great place to meet new friends that will understand your sport because they do it as well. I just love dance in general:) I would spend all day, everyday at my dance studio if I could!!! Why do you love it???

I love using dance as a form of expression. I took dance lessons (ballet, jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop) for five years, and I'd have to say that I loved lyrical best of all. It's not about being precise or perfect, it's about letting the music move you.
I also took ballroom for a year, and I absolutely loved Swing and Cha-Cha. Just because they're fun.

i remember a highschool psychology teacher told us about dancing. he said dancing is a vertical expression of a horizontal desire. but i guess he is just saying that to make a humor out of it.
for me dancing makes us feel alive and free. it is a way to express our selves. i am not a dancer but i really love seeing and watching people dance. i like it when they dance and see their light moves like they are a piece of paper floating in the wind.
just keep on dancing and happy mylotting!

Well you've already listed lots of great reasons to love dance, not sure how much more I can add. I love the feeling of moving, just how it really gets those endorphins moving and gives me more energy and makes me happy. I love feeling like I'm a little bit graceful, which I tend not to be on the whole but when I do a pirouette then I feel really graceful! Dancing is very much an art, and one that I really wish I'd stuck with when I was younger. There's so much catching up to do now that I'm older. Some skills I'll probably never master.

I don't know why I love to dance. But then, dance is just my passion or I would rather say, there is more of dance in me more than blood. I am very sensitive about dancing too. When I see a great dance, I will have tears in my eyes and it makes me feel so happy about it.
Dance for me, can convey anything in the world. It is a unique language which conveys a lot of emotions to the viewers. Me being a classical Dancer basically, I just love dance and would dance anytime at once. I juts need some music and that's it! I am of dancing. Sometimes, I don't even find the need for the music, I get myself started right away when I feel like dancing.
