Do you feel tired in IT companies?

In China, most people think about ones who working in IT companies are comfortable, maybe they have more money and more spare time.
But, I know, these people who are in IT companies are not comfortable and happy, maybe they feel tired and unhappy, maybe they don't have so much money just like Bill Gates.
So, I just want to know, do you feel tired and unhappy if you are in IT companies? Do you have more money than others?

I'm currently employed in an IT Department and yes, I do agree that our task is stressing especially since I work as a Software Engineer/Programmer. But then, it would depend on the person. I'm speaking on my own viewpoint here.
My friends who work in other IT companies earn way more than I do but then, I still enjoy working in the same company and in the same field because I'm learning a lot of things and I don't feel "caged" in doing the same thing again and again, so I'm learning a lot :)

What makes a person happy is when he is in the situation which he loves doing.It doesn't matter of what your activities are ,as long as you choose them and you choose them to perform then you'll be happy

Yeah, you are right. I find that there are two "groups" in IT companies:one "group" is geak, they love technology, and focus on IT news; another "group" is lazy, they don't know IT or technology something, just finish their job and get their money, maybe in their mind, this is just a job.

I felt it so many time, tired came and make me down. I don't like to be tired and get sleep early. I wanna be feel free to work and being a good quality worker. Working in It filed is really challenging and i think it is a kind of tiring too. Our brain easily get tired after work and think for long time.

i am also a progrmmer in a IT company. at your first years it won't pay that well. but i really enjoy programming so i am happy with my job. actually, in my experience, you won't be even able to be a programmer if you don't have the ability and passion for it. i have been in 3 schools in my college days. and i have been the one that everyone ask questions in programming. and each of those schools i have seen a drastic decline of students pursuing my course. it's either they drop from school or they chaged their course because programming, if you don't have passion and talent for it you won't get anywhere. so in summary, i am saying that the only ones that have the job as programmer are the ones who really enjoys it. so you can say that IT people, if they are programmers, are happy people.
