It's summer time again. Children and youth are still into productive activities even it's time for vacation. My sisters went to a church summer camp in Tagaytay since Monday this week. That camp is until this Thursday and I'm very sure that they are having a lot of fun! I'm excited to hear stories from them when they get back home.
Do you have sisters or siblings that go for a summer camp? Or do they enroll in activities like workshops or something? For you, how do these activities benefit to them?

Me too! I am a product of church camp as well. In fact, I'm now one of the facilitators in our church who organize the camps for this generation. It's fun right? I attend in Methodist Church. How about you?

School is still in session for two more months. Children from our church go to camp every year. I remember when my kids would go. Now I have grand kids. Always a good time though.

Growing up my sister, brother and I didn't go to camp. I did want to, but then again I didn't. I am sure that your sibilings are having a lot of fun though. It is something I think I'd send my own kids (when I have them) to though.

I believe that summer camps are good learning experiences for kids and youth. I did not experience such activities when i was young. Actually, i encourage my daughter to attend summer camps especially those that are organized by the church but my daughter does not want to go. When she was four years old, she attended a workshop as a kiddie crew in one of the fastfoods here. It taught her to be friendly and to be kind to the elderly. She also learned some customer service skills.
Well, maybe this are not her type of summer activities. She spends her whole day in front of the computer, from the time i leave the house until i arrive in the evening up to about nine or ten. I even told her that it has bad effects in the body's blood circulation but she does not listen. Next summer, i will encourage her to enrol in summer classes, so she can take advance subjects.
