There is something I really want, and I have to collect two of the same thing and send the cards in to get this really cute make-up bag.But I'm wondering,is it really worth my time? and will it even work?!
My mother used to collect them all the time but I do no remember her once sending them out..So I look to you guys for your experiences with it?
I guess I really have nothing to loose trying it.. Im excited to do so..
What do you think?.

I use the mail-in rebates whenever I can. Yep, they're worth it. I always write down some information before I mail them in, though. When they say it'll take "6 to 8 weeks" or something similar to get your rebate, if you know when you mailed it in then you're not worrying about a scam if it's been like 7 weeks and you haven't seen anything yet. I write down the address where it's mailed and always make a copy of the receipt before mailing it. I want the copy just in the small chance that it gets lost in the mail. (You know how the U.S. Postal Service is!)

I think with most things like that it all depends on quantity. They may have a limited quantity as is so your chances are slim but it's still worth it. I've only ever done mail in rebates for mobile phones, and that was getting a gift card back in the mail.
