I always feel excited for vacation with my family. In our country, a holy week is a long vacation. It is not only intended for us to really have a quiet time the whole holiday period but some moments are spent with lovedones. When I started growing as a mature person, it has been already difficult to be with my family because of the demands of my work. I love working because it gives me the chance to enjoy things and share blessings to others but its demands are great that I have to be so thankful when a vacation like this comes. Actually, I am more than thankful. Yes, I have been busy preparing for a vacation with my family out of town but within the country. God bless us all.

That's nice. I enjoy going on vacation with my family, too. We always travel during the Christmas season and the Holy Week. However, something came up and we're not going anywhere this year. I was disappointed, but at least we could save some money.
Today is my last day at work, and I can't believe I'm getting excited even if we're just staying at home. I have already some plans and I can't wait to get started.:)

That sounds awesome. I have seen a few discussions started about this so far. What country are you in? I'm curious to know which countries celebrate 'Holy Week'. We dont' have anything like that really except for Christmas/Easter where we supposedly celebrate Jesus or something..But mainly we just eat and exchange presents. . Have a great holiday & happy MyLotting!

Vacations are something that I always look forward to. However, they are also something that we don't have the opportunity to do too often with our family. You see, the last several years have been filled with financial difficulties followed by serious health issues for my husband. However, I would like to think that next year we will be able to take a good family vacation because we will finally have our credit card debt paid off.

Hi keshlois, we have work, we have our responsibilities, we have no time, but yet we must be with the family for some time. We have to provide time for ourselves for the family, going for a trip, spending with the children on their vacation etc., because we live for our family so sharing our love and affection to them is a must. Being with family members will be a wonderful feeling. Be happy always. Have a nice trip.

Well, I can feel it too. Being at work makes me very busy. I not have much time with my family and friends. I just stayed for one hour or two in our house just to eat food and prepare my things and then go. This is my most awaited moment -- the vacation. I would love to be with them and make it all up to them. Life is so good during vacations in which you don't have to think of deadlines or do some paperwork.

You are right, holy week is really the best time in a year. This is also the chance for those who works to have quality time with their family. Here in our country April 9 is also declared holiday, so the vacation will extend until monday, a trully long week vacation.
However, we must not forget the essence of this week.

Unfortunately, you will find the old you get, the more it seems you work and miss family events. I think work has gotten more demanding of the employee. I hate it. I miss spending quality time with my family. Sad thing is we all live in the same city. Best Wishes!
