Goodbye mama

I was awakened by the news that Mama already died. That was already 3:00 o’clock in the morning, more or less, my 2 nieces came to the house and informed us of the Mama’s death. They were already chatting when I went out of the room.
The night before, when I went there for my usual routine to help my sister clean our mom, she was already on oxygen. But I just didn’t mind I just thought that she just had difficulties in breathing. When we changed her clothes and diaper, she was so weak. She was so heavy. I just thought she was just fast asleep. And I was right she was deeply sleeping. So I went home.
I slept well that night until I was awakened by the news. I will surely miss my mother. She was one of the persons next to God whom I owed so much. If not for her, I won’t be here. Mama wherever you are, I will always love you and I will miss you.

This has got me into tears. Its really hard to lose someone you love so much. I pray that your mom is now in better place and that you and your family be comforted by our God.

Thanks for your prayers and the sympathy that I received from you. You know, as days passed I miss my mother more and more. But we can't bring her back to life as we are not permanent in this world. Only God know when he will take us from earth. I miss those days with her.

Just the thought of my mother dying makes me cry (she's still alive and breathing well).
I consider my mother as one of the most precious 'possessions' I have, and I am very, very frightened to lose her. The steps I am taking now and in the future will be for her so that I can make sure that she can be with me and my siblings for a longer time.

Yes our mom is the among our greatest possessions. I know we love our mothers but there are times that I took her for granted. Just thinking of those times that she was ignored in favor of some other important matters made me shiver. How I wish we can reverse the time back so that I can correct what I had done. For you, enjoy every moment with your mom.

First of all, pahak627 my condolences to you. We just have something in common, I lost my mother with cancer when I was just 10 years old and up to now, after 25 years, I still have the feeling of emptiness. Nothing really compares of having a mother on your side. It really saddens me seeing someone losing his or her mother especially this coming week is Mother's day. Take a deep breath, close your eyes and pray that you may have the courage, strength and wisdom to face this predicament.
