If you use google adwords spy. The keywords "how to delete facebook account" is typed as much as 450 thousand times per month on google search engine. From the numbers that much, it seems many people who want to know how to delete facebook account. And if those who have done such a search has been completely delete their facebook account? Only Mark Z. and his friends who knew the facts. It may be that they have actually delete their facebook account because of its direct delete facebook account is disguised. Facebook is very reasonable if the team is to disguise delete feature, who also wants to lose a lot of followers :-) Facebook uses the term "deactivate" and do not use the term "delete". According to them, many people who have committed to return to deactivate your facebook account reactivate it.

Deleting account doesn't mean they want to leave facebook. Maybe they want register new account, cause they get spammed every days.

Maybe you'll think I am paranoid but I think facebook is just a device for getting all the information about you. That explains why you can't delete your facebook. That's the reason why I don't have facebook and I never will :)

I dont wonder if it happens cos I can feel that Facebook is getting boring nowadays. But though it's boring enough I cant stop myself Facebooking cos I need to sell thing on Facebook. Yup, I use my account as my online shop. I sell clothes on my shop. So I should open my Facebook every time to check whether there's an order or not. Then Facebook is not about boring or not anymore but it's about getting money from it. Beside, I need Facebook to have contact with some friends who live far away from me. I think it's good to know everything happen to them. I'm so glad knowing one of my friend gets married or having a baby. And I can know all about these easily through Facebook. So I dont intend to delete my Facebook account but I seldom making status or comment..:)

Deactivate and Delete are not the same at all, Facebook does not allow a user to be gone forever, but gives a chance to come back, well I guess, that 6 figures of search result per month you say, means those are the same number of user who want to be gone and never return to Facebook, if the delete feature is actually present at Facebook, I guess there would be lesser number of search results cause they would not search it at all. Perhaps, Facebook team is being clever on this point.
