Mumbai Indians won the opening match of IPL 5

Chennai Superkings? Defending champions? I remember Mumbai Indians were the previously IPL champions, defeating Royal Challengers, Bengaluru. But, I'm a person to mix up things like this, so I may be wrong too. It was a easy win today for Mumbai Indians. CSK have had 2 players who don't fit for 20-20 format, Badrinath and Jadeja. That was also a reason to some extent. At least they could have given a fight, but it was one sided.

Its a very good start for Mumbai.I wish them to be winner of IPL 2012.I am waiting to see the Sachin again in the mood when we won worldcup.I would like to see the trophy in his hands again.

Well I will give all credit to Bhaji for his brilliant captaincy... he look like a tiger and do the same thing in field while on ther other hand dhoni loss the match before delivery of any bowl when he say he also want to bowl first in this track........ well done bhaji keep it up and you must win the IPL-5......... it sure didn't look like IPl champions facing the champions league winner.it looked more like the winner versus wooden spooner. ok so what if the pitch is different.this is just the start.they should have started aiming at 140 and then worked it up as they play on. after a slow start they had momentum.but they followed it with utterly dreadfull shots from bravo,morkel,badri,jadeja ( wait i am almost listing the entire team ). may be hussey would have made a difference. good thing for mumbai being their 2 buys,levi and ojha turned the match for them. cant wait for munaf to be fit and johnson in the team

CSK were nowhere in this match no efforts from the batsmen as well as bowlers. Except the Raina who start's the count for six in this IPL no body played well. Even bolers didn't try to defend the total they bolwy as lazy frog. It was not interesting match as it seems to be others. MI did well from the beginning and grab a victory in the opening game. Levi quick fity help the team to achive the task before 5 overs. I may feel this time mumbai has long way to go.

Yeah, that was a great win from Mumbai Indians. I predicted from before only that Mumbai Indians will win the match and at last they won. Chennai Superkings had a great team but their batting side was not upto the performance.

The 1st game of this season was an quite interesting one. It is quite natural that the game will become tight when two powerful teams are face to face but I did not expect this one. I hoped that both of the team will score about 150+ runs and will play hard to compete each other. Anyway Mumbai had done their best. Mumbai bowlers had done their best. Hope the team will do the same in the coming matches.

It is so passion to welcome the red season with this successful beginning of shot. Mumbai is a famous harbor of financial and goods to exchange, so vigourous place with ancient culture.

The Chennai team was not at all looking good as they faltered in Batting and also in the fielding.In fielding there were so many miss field that they were not at all looked like the champions who won the last two finals. It looks that the luck which Dhoni brought to the Chennai and the Indian team had gone as after the world cup it is looking nothing is going his way by loosing the series in england then australia and then in bangladesh.and it can also be said that they were not in there strength as they were not having Hussey who most of the time digs out the team from the misery. But credit should go to the bowling and fielding of Mumbai Indians as they bowled really well and they got 3 runouts also.And then in batting Levi played really well to take their team to a place from were they have to score at the rate of only 3 runs per over.Then rayudu and frankline took the team to the victory after sachin got hurt badly in the index finger and rohit was also out before that and then 2 new players were there in the crease and the two of them scored at the rate of 1 run per ball.In the end it was a deserving win for the Mumbai Indians.Mumbai Indians AALA RE...........
