Really?! I have a friend who had too much rice and now she simply hates it but with an Asian background, rice is a must! I like rice too but usually I only put in about a handful and a bit into a bowl and fill it up with other things like meat and veggies. I will always have more meat and veggies compared to rice. That's who I can keep my sugar levels under control. Or you can eat the brown rice I think it's called with the brown reddish skin still on it. That rice is much healthier but of course the healthier stuff always taste awful. So just cut back and top your plate with lots of other thing rather than rice.

Too much is not good for everything everything. Just eat on the right portion and balance with other side dishes like vegetables, meats, fruits, fishes.

Personally I think this is a lot of people's problem. An addiction to rice, and personally I enjoy rice as well. But if you are like me, and Diabetic it can really react and create problems later in High Blood Sugars, etc. as it does turn into sugars for most people. I too have tried to eat it in moderation and wish that somehow it could be considered better for me.

Rice is good but too much of it will leads to obesty. Today we don't go office by walk and we don't used to go for jogging/walking. so we don't required too much of carbohydrate and thus more rice leads to some disease in future.
