FileShoppe is a pay-per-download file host running two primary services. 1. Paid downloads, where the uploader sets their own price and retains 100% of their earnings less our $0.01 per 100MB fee. 2. Free downloads, where the content is made freely available to downloaders with certain restrictions imposed (such as reduced speed). These files then have an option of a premium download (to bybass any imposed restrictions) at a fee of just $0.01 per 100MB. Uploaders earn 20% on 'free' files. Instant Payout FileShoppe pays out instantly on every premium/paid download. Funds are cleared into your merchant account the instant the downloader begins their download! Free Files FileShoppe allows you to charge for your files or release to the public free of charge. Their rates are a fixed $0.01 per 100MB! If releasing your files for free, you will receive 20% of the total sale price instantly in your CarrotPay merchant account for every file you upload and share! e.g. 350MB file cost $0.035 (3.5c) to download. Uploader receives $0.007. e.g. 5MB file cost $0.01 (1c) to download. Uploader receives $0.002. e.g. 1GB file cost $0.10 (10c) to download. Uploader receives $0.02. Priced Files Uploaders can release their files for a fee and maximize their earnings! You can charge between $0.01 and $200.00 for your digital goods! The bandwidth fee remains static at $0.01 per 100MB. e.g. 350MB file price at $1 would incur a bandwidth fee of $0.035(3.5c). Uploader receives $0.965. e.g. 5MB file price at $0.10 would incur a bandwidth fee of $0.01(1c). Uploader receives $0.09. e.g. 1GB file price at $0.50 would incur a bandwidth fee of $0.10(10c). Uploader receives $0.40. (Non-Free files are not available as free downloads) Payout Method FileShoppe pays out with CarrotPay. They claim they use CarrotPay for several reasons. 1. Transactions are NON reversible. This allows them to be sure they can pay out instantly. And you can be sure your funds are yours! 2. Transaction fees to accept CarrotPay are low, at just 5%. 3. CarrotPay supports split payments! This is how they can guarantee instant payout. Funds go directly to your account via a split payment. When the downloader makes their payment, the funds are instantly sent to you directly without ever going through them. 4. Flexible top-up/withdraw methods. CarrotPay allows for top-ups via Credit Card/Paypal/Bank Transfer and more. You can withdraw to Paypal and Bank. 5. You don't NEED to sign up for CarrotPay. You can use your Google/Yahoo/Facebook/AOL account to authenticate yourself through open ID. Although you can sign up for CarrotPay directly too. Account LESS FileShoppe does not depend on user accounts to function. FileShoppe does not have any premium or user accounts for downloads. They only offer user accounts for content providers as an option. Accounts are required to make use of our FTP upload facility. The safe, secure and anonymous! As FileShoppe does not depend on accounts, you can be sure they don't hold any of your personal information. Their system is highly distributed, with files hosted on our purpose build CDN.
