Well this was nice because it was lenten season and i normally go on
not eating too much on this occasions, i think that it is a way that i can
show my God that i can at least somehow sacrifice in my own small way
to show my appreciation of his love for me through this .

Great to hear that you are also doing your part in preparation fot the lenten season.. This was also a topic we had with my uncle.. But he said that it's not food that we should avoid this lent but instead avoid committing sins.. Enjoy eating! :D

i usually eat this tuna when i ate meat in past few days,my tongue usually look for tuna or fish, and the price of fish during lenten season will become higher because it will be demanding during that time because many people still believe that no pork or meat during lenten season.

I'm so hungry the whole day. It felt like I've been fasting for months--well, I had been fasting for months already and I just can't help it feeling like a pig right now especially when all I've eaten are only fruits and vegetables without much meat at all. I MISS the meat!
And by the way, though the culture and tradition says that fasting in the Bible means fasting from food, what God wants us to do is to lessen whatever it is that we do on more. For example: If you had been to engrossed in work, lessen the time you use on work and use the time to do other things within the boundary of human freedom--in short, Godly deeds. If you had been eating too much, cut back on eating and give the rest to those who are hungry.
It seems simple really, but by heavens is it so difficult especially when my tummy feels like it's a big black hole right now...
I'm not fasting this day but it sure feels like it.
I'm happy that you're happy in your fasting right now. Good luck in whatever it is you're doing this Holy Week! And Happy MyLotting!
