Is that safe to pay bills online??

Ya, I have been using internet paying bill for past 5 years. And till date never had any problem it. In fact I feel it is convenient,simply sitting at home I can pay the bill without wasting time of going out and standing in queue.

first you have to know that if it is a safe website and for that it will show you at the top where you type in the address it will have a lock up there at the end of (i think on the far right where you type it in) this will tell you that it is a safe and secure website. also usually it will tell you that it is secure. MOST major companies are secure and if it doesnt have the lock it will say it some where on the payment page. my aunt has been paying bills online for a while now and she has had no problems with it so far. i think you will be fine to do so :) good luck :)

my brother has paid his bills online for years so i guess it s safe for him, i have not but my hubby use to pay the cable bill online until we swithced and got local tv and combined bills of tv,internet, and phone.. i guess it depends on where you go online as to how safe..

I prefer to pay my bills online because of the convenience. Additionally, some companies offer a discount for me to pay my student loans through them online. They cut the interest rate down a certain percentage, so it actually saves money in the long run. Online payments also prevent me from having to go to the post office to get stamps or to stop by the mailbox everyday. I was never a fan of making payments over the phone either, so online is definitely my method. I always make sure the site is verified for security. Typically there is a symbol or logo on their website if the site is secure, or it has https in the URL.

I don't think it's unsafe,if you take proper security measures.I pay my credit card bill through internet banking,didn't face any problem so far.Banking sites do follows very strict security norms.

Hi Victor! I am very confident with Paypal. I pay my online bills through paypal and only paypal.

As for me, I am not having any problems paying my bills through online methods. I think it is very convenient and easy. As for the security, I don't have any as of the moment. But of course, using the online banking features would have some good practice and measures to follow to ensure security. I never open any of my online accounts in other public computers. I only use my personal laptop or any trusted computers. Also, I buy into the expiration of my passwords and change them ever so often. I do think that doing transactions online is safe as long as you are cautious and knowledgeable about how to handle security online.

For online shopping,, you need to test the shop by buying some cheap item first, then if you're happy, you can try to buy more expensive stuff. For monthly bill like electricity or water, i prefer manually, because i don't like not having a proof that i have paid last month. This happen to my friend when one day he decided to pay online for electricity, then the next month those people said that he's still owe them for last month's bill... i hate it when that happen, so i prefer to paid them manually so whenever they try to trick me like they do to my friend, i have proof that i already paid them.

I think it's depends which websites you paid for.Like it's absolutely safe for paying amazon products,ebay and other famous company.But there is lots of cases that people get cheated by the small websites.Those websites usually cheat for people by using misleading propagand and crooked promotion.Someone without any experience of Internet paying or didn't know much about the Internet is not safe will be tricked.For avoid this happen,I advise that stay away from the untrusted websites once they ask ANY kind of payment for you.And do not be too greedy~!
