I watched ghost rider 2 the other day.
I was very disappointed. The first one was much better.
The story was better, the effects were better, the lines, the image.
I think this one was just a big joke. It had some effects like when he used that chain to cut the bad people down and that big mining thing but that was it.
They took out that nice effect with the eye staring and seeing their sins.
Too bad, not what I expected.

The first move was not a critical success. I was surprised they made a second. Nicholas Cage was probably only involved because he needs the money.

I still didn't watch the Ghost Rider 2. But I didn't like the first part of the movie also. I think they are not doing well apart from the real comic book series. What is the use of making such big budget films, if no one is liking it. Still, i think there are many who like this film.

I watched already the first and the second movie and i can say that the first movie is much much really better than the second one however still i did not like much the story. Well, the second movie was such a total disappointment, it become worse than ever. Even though they put efforts on the effects and actions, i do not like what they did to the final output. The editting part for me is such a distaster. Honestly, the only problem i do not like which makes for me the movie a disaster is its editting. I do not know, why did they do that type of editting. Well, i like the actions either but not that excellent. 3 stars for the movie, out of five though.

Yeah, I do agree with you... Although the first one was not that good and I never thought they will be doing a second one... Well did you see the smoke coming from the flaming head... it is is like burning rubber.... heheheh... One other thing the first one has better effects on the motorcycle and his jacket... On this second one it is just like a low cost movie... I hate to ask but is Nicolas Cage going on the slope of his career already?... :D

You can say that again. Then again, I disappointed with the Marvel Knights line in general. Take "The Punisher" films for example. The Thomas Jane version, and "Punisher: War Zone" were both good films, and there absolutely no need for Marvel to relaunch the films, or remake films again, but they always felt that the first one was never perfect, even though the fans loved both films and didn't see any problems. Well, with Ghost Rider, the fans don't like Nick Cage as "Ghost Rider", many of them have expressed this to Marvel several times, and they won't listen, maybe this time, they finally will, and will drop the Marvel Knight line altogether.
The Marvel Knights are: The Punisher, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, Spider-Man (Yes, they are both supposed to be under this line from what I have heard), Electra, and a few others whose names are escaping me right now.
The comics themselves have been pretty good, but expect much from the films.

I would say that the original Ghost Rider, is perhaps the single worst comic book to movie, ever. Nicolas Cage did so little in the movie, that it was obviously just a tiny job for the money. I'm not surprised it got even worse, because they knew that all they needed was Cage, and the story from the comic, and they'd make money.
I would not, ever, pay money to see that movie. I really hope that it goes bankrupt, so that they won't possibly make another one.

Ghost rider (1) wasn't such a great movie either. It is hard to transfer comics to movies. Also, Nicolas Cage isn't the best action actor to be the Rider. I only watched it because I am a motorcyclist, but as a whole I think it was a failure.
