Is it really worth the price?

Knowing that Apple Products are really famous and well-known for its durability and its highly customized applications and functions, we are also aware of it being a high-priced baby. For me, i think they are priced alright being the only company who was able to produce a highly-customized product in large quantities but still being able to adapt to its owners' personality and lifestyle. What about you? Do you think its worth it?

I think maybe in some country the Apple product is not worth its price. For an example, in country like Australia, an iPhone cost 799 Australian dollar, it's maybe the 1/3 or 1/4 from their monthly income. But in our country, an iPhone cost the sum of our 3 or 4 month's income, so some of us think it can't worth the price, we prefer some brands like Nokia or some other low-end model. It's just my opinion~^^

I do think that way also with some of their products. They really are cheaper depending on the place you would buy it from but generally speaking, they are good first movers when it comes to technology and innovation. Yes, people do settle for low-end models because they can perform well too and besides, Nokia has been there for a long-time already so we got used to it.

Apple sells quality products and when you can compare prices -- for laptops or desktops --, they are nearly the same than those of HP/Compaq or Lenovo for their pro models. Choosing one or the other is a matter of taste. For tablets, top android models are not far from ipads and a bit cheaper but not that much. For phones some Android, like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, are a lot better than Iphones, and Iphones are a bit out of fashion actually. For both tablets and phones, Apple has a too locked market, and Android is more opened, with more choice available : buying an iphone or an ipad is certainly not the best choice today. So, is it worth it ? Most of the time, but not always.

I have a lot of Apple products, and I was one of those people in the past who said that they would never buy one of their products because of the price. However, somebody bought me an iPod for Christmas when I was 14, and it was the best music player that I've ever had. Since then, I have had 4 models of the iPod, and iPhone and a MacBook Pro. Although they are indeed priced a lot higher than anything else that you might expect to find in the shops, there is a good reason for this, and that is because they are a much better quality as well as being a much higher price. I would never look back.

I do think apple products are worth it. Aside from being virus free, the products from Apple are sleek and well-designed. Their applications are also enjoyable to use. Also, Apple products are very durable.

Iphone is worth, it iss fits form bring ing pocket, in our place , the price of they computer is the same of an Iphone, I donot have an Iphone but in my guess, people solve problem with laptop is more usefully. Is iphone full off computer ?Only because it is easy with you ing your hand, of course if iphone can finish most laptop function, it is still worth the price. If you only have money enough to buys one laptop or iphone, I will choose laptop in case I am not son sure with iphone function. Other to buy ones android symbian mobile phone cheaper lot. If you have money ,I feels Iphone is high quality, bigger content and other promised function.

I am using Nokia smart phone but I admit that symbian system is well but IOS is the best. It's better than Android I think. At least by now,Android hasn't beyond it's competitor. Now regarding your question,I think Apple's profit is huge but I think it is too expensive for me.But if I have money,I will buy the past version like Iphone 4.If Iphone 5 come out this year,I will buy Iphone 4s instead because cheaper price than now.

I think Apple is just a brand name and quite overpriced. Basically, the advent of technology has surpassed expectations from users and the competition is really stiff with regards to product features, etc. it all depends on the Operating system, and i guess for now i would go for the android phones or similar products.

The Apple VS 'whatever' debate will never end. Apple for computer products, NO I do not think their worth the money. I can build a system a similar or same specification than an Apple machine at a fraction of the cost. You are paying just as much for a 'brand name' than you are hardware. Sure their machines are 'cleaner' in the inside also but with the right case and person building a PC it can be just as 'clean' looking. Same with their laptops. People are under a 'myth' as such that Apple computers last longer. Complete rubbish if you ask me. I have a Pentium machine thats over 10 years old will still work if I was to plug it in today lol. To me its the owners and how they care for their products not the company that built them. All this Virus free talk etc is also not 100% true. Windows and PC in general still pretty much dominate the majority of home based computer users. There was a few 'groups' that showed a few years back the apple systems could just as easily be hit by a virus, trojan, spyware and so on. Just because no ones bothered with them yet due to them not being the majority of average/home computer product doesnt mean it cant be done. As for their phones etc ... I can't comment as so long as a phone for example makes and receives calls thats all I care about. Screw the other features.

Hi yrallih, Thank you for asking such a question. I have been a NOKIA user for a long time, then I got an iPhone...WOW!! Symbian mobiles are good but IOS is totally on the other side of the Universe.lol My whole life is now e-Organized and with reminders, financials software, games.....etc. All what I need is in a small device in my hands. :) Yes, I noticed the competition and comparison with Android mobiles specially Samsung. To me APPLE has a more controlled environment of programs rather than the non-controlled environment of the Android store. OK...OK... I am a fan of Open source systems and believe in them being the future, but this will take time. For me the coming couple of years is Apple, but watching closely the updates of Android journey.

I don't own any apple products but I like them nonetheless. I like the overall design and presentation and functions of these products. I would like to buy an apple ipad but right now I don't have enough money to buy it so I'll wait a few months before buying it...

Well, if we are talking 10 years ago, the Apple products are worth their value. Nowadays though, one can easily get an Apple-like device like a netbook or tablet at a much cheaper price but still get the same or even better functionality and applications that Apple products offer to their customers. So I say it's not worth it these days. I do hope the successors of Steve Jobs would rethink their position on the pricing of their products as their rivals are making a run for their money.
