Free listing over the Easter weekend!

April 5, 2012 6:26am CST
I've just found this message on ebay.co.uk: "05 April, 2012 | 10:00AM BST Hello, On 6th – 9th April 2012, private sellers who list up to 100 listing(s) at a starting price from £1.00 or more in an eligible category using the auction format on eBay.co.uk, will not pay an insertion fee*. Items are eligible for this promotion if they are listed with the eBay Mobile applications, Quick Sell or Advanced Sell (Sell Your Item) forms. Items listed using professional tools, such as Turbo Lister and Selling Manager Pro, are excluded. Only sellers whose accounts meet eBay’s minimum Seller Performance Standards are eligible for the promotion. Sellers should confirm eligibility by checking their account status on My eBay. For inspiration on what to sell check out our eBay House. *Terms and conditions apply Regards, The eBay Team" So that's a four day free listing weekend! Unfortunately for me, I'm going to be out of town visiting my sister and her family from Friday morning till sometime on Monday, so I'll only have time to put up a few listings. But for anyone who does happen to have the weekend free - get weaving!

Oh bummer! Sounds like a good deal, is that only for people in the UK? Maybe it applies to the US as well. What's weird is that lately I have been getting ZERO listing fees, even a promotion is going on for ZERO buy it now fees. I think they should always do that. I mean, they get like 10% of what we earn anyway.

I'm pretty sure that each national Ebay branch is run by a different set of managers, so it's best to check what's happening in your own country's version. Thanks for replying.
