dying part of living?

I've heard a lot of people say that death is part of life. How is that so? Also, if dying is part of living, why are so many people afraid to die. I have my certain point of view, but I'm curious what your oppinions are.

I guess that they're just implying that dying is one phase of our life that we will encounter whether we like it or not. People might be afraid to die because they enjoy their life, they have something special going on with their lives. But we must bear in our mind that we do not have the control on how long we will lived.
