Do you care about what other people think of you?

Be honest :) I say I don't care what other people think of me...but that's honestly a lie, haha. I do care, although not to a great extent. Honestly I just want to be viewed as normal, to be able to blend into a crowd. But that's never the case for me. I'm shy but apparently I give off this "don't touch me " vibe according to most of my friends lol.

I am totally like you, I always say i don't care what people think of me, their opinions don't matter blah blah. And sometimes it is true. Sometimes I really don't care what others think of me but there has been some people when I am like ahh! What will she or he think of me. But I try to not let people get to me. Its okay i guess if people critique you, sometimes they can help you other time they may hurt you. So i think it really depends on the time and situation.

I'm fine with people critiquing me- it's when they judge me I get kind of nervous xD I think it's pretty shallow of me, but I do notice that I care to what people think of me if they are attractive. If they aren't I'm usually just like "meh". This stems from when I was younger (elementary school) I was pretty dorky and I'm different now to how I used to be. But I still remember how people woul judge me :/

I always care about what other people think of me. We all do at some point. I read a book once that says that all people think about what other people think of them. It's impossible to not care at all as it is human nature to care. We cannot deny that.

I'll be honest, I'm going to do what I am going to do, people are going to either like me or they are not going to like me. But I am not going to really change just because some people don't like something that I would do. I fell into that trap back in the days of high school but it is a waste of time. If you change, then people will like you or dislike you for something that you are not, rather something that you are are.
I just have little interest in what people are going to think of me. If they think a lot of me then that is great. If they don't think too much about me for whatever reason, then that is their problem, and not mine. At one time, I would have been mentally hung up with the thoughts of other people, but now, the opinions of others is just something that I really don't have must interest in catering to. People will think what they wish.

ya, better don't care all what other people think of you, but you should consider your closed friends' comment or any comment from your family member. They always give you the truth related with you.
In my case, many women often ask me, give their opinion about private thing related to my life when i met them on the way going to my work room as if they care me much but actually they don't and they also don't know me clearly. They just ask, just say, just give comments and dont care how I feel that time, it is terrible...

Honestly, not all that much because people think that they know me, but they really don't have a clue. Also, I don't want to be one of those snooty, uptight people, I want to be someone that people can just say, "Oh, she's an individual, but she's not that different from the rest of us." I don't really want to be above anyone.

Well I like being liked, and will go to great lengths to be so, although I'm quite a complex and intense soul, so it's quite hard work: I'm not the super-pleasant easy going type, although when I was younger, I'd say I was: I was the life and soul of the party type of person, liked by many, many people. But I still try for the most part to be a nice person. But we change as we get older; we get less simple; and less idealistic. I've had quite a tough existence like most people: mistakes, disappointments, failures, follies, addictions, crises...oh yes I've known them all. Although people are still very drawn to me on sight: I have that kind of personality, very positive in its effect on others: I'm also very youthful; and tend to like strangers very much. But then...sight is not reality; it's just how I appear. I like being fair to others, and get very down if I feel I've let them down; but if I do my level best, and fail, then in the end, I just accept that. I'm not the easiest person, far from it, knowing me well requires work and patience. However, I do suffer for not being liked; yet I pretty well soon get over it. But it hurts like old billy-o for a while.

I used to care a lot of what people thought of me. Then I realized that I was changing my life for them and not myself. I can't say that I don't completely care what people think now, but I care a lot less. I just do the best to live my life, how I want to live it, and help others along the way if I can.
