So, I want a new bumper sticker. I want one for motorcyclist's this time. But I'm not sure what I want it to say exactly. I have a few ideas, so you guys let me know which you like better. 1)Look Twice, Save A Life 2)"Start Seeing Them" or just "Start Seeing" And I am attaching the picture I am using on my sticker. Thanks!

The first one is definitely better. Start seeing leaves you thinking, start seeing what? Of course the picture says what, but you still don't know why. Save a life tells you why.

I'm all for the Look Twice, Save a Life. It's simple, meaningful and easy to remember. Now all you need is an appealing font and bumper sticker color. By the way, you never mentioned what animals you want to take care in your shelter. Will you be focusing on a specific breed? dogs? cats? wildlife? I was just curious. Have a great day!

Bumper Sticker - bumper sticker
Well I created the sticker (haven't bought it yet), but I can attach a picture of it, and you can tell me if you like the style. I will be helping a variety of animals. I'll be focusing on dogs and cats (no breed specifics) that have behavioral issues like "aggression aka extreme shyness, food aggression, etc). I'd take in about 5 dogs at a time, and 10-20 cats at a time. But I won't turn away any animal if someone were to drop something off...if it wasn't something I could personally help, like a baby raccoon, I would keep it until i found a place that could care for it. I also have some knowledge of caring for baby birds, so I would help them if they ever came to me. And I've considered taking in small mammals on a small scale if the need arises (I have 4 glass aquairums that are good for small mammals).

The first one. People mistakenly assume that if a bike goes out of their sight, it's no longer there. I had a close call at a stop light once. He saw me and signaled to switch lanes and get in front of me. Why I don't know. He then switched lanes, signaled and switched back in front of me and almost hit me. I called him out on it and he just said; Woops, I didn't see you. I told him he saw me enough to want to pass me. He learned a lesson on how bikes can disappear from sight. Hopefully he never made the same mistake again. I was lucky, but if we had been going fast, the ending might have been different.

I can't stand drivers who think they own the road! Just today I watched a stupid little muscle car cut off an SUV, and was then behind a motorcyclist. Then the stupid little muscle car started to just blantantly swerve from side to side behind the motorcycle. I literally yelled at him, even though there was a car between us. I wish people would be more considerate on the road. I'm glad you're okay! I have seen too many close calls, where a second made all the difference!

I really like the first one too. Look Twice, Save A Life. It is a good habit for all drivers to get into as even cars can be in your blind spot the first time you look, but motorbikes being smaller are far more easily hidden. As a motorcyclist myself I am always aware of bike riders on the road and give them plenty of room. When I am riding, I try to avoid traffic and prefer to go straight into the hills and country roads which I can do here without going through any traffic. But when I am in traffic, I am very wary of the fact that drivers may not see me. On the freeway I cautiously pass them and try to look at the driver to see whether they have seen me or not before I overtake them. There are plenty of things that riders can do to be more easily seen, like altering their line by moving about in the lane slightly when approaching intersections. There is lots of training for bike riders on safety, but drivers do not really seem to train themselves as often and are mostly oblivious to their surrounding I have found.

One of my biggest fears is that I'll miss seeing a motorcyclist! That's why i always look THREE times!!!! lol I have seen too many near accidents with motorcycles, it's horrible. My family and I also witnessed the aftermath of a car vs motorcycle accidents...the motorcyclist didn't make it. It's horrible!!! I wish more people would be more cautious.

I like #1) Look Twice, Save a Life. I thank God that I have not cause an accident for, or hit a motorcycle. I would be devastated. So many of our friends drive/ride them.

I almost saw a motorcyclist get into an accident on the freeway, literally a SECOND difference and he may have been killed. It was right next to me and I about had a heart attack!!! Some idiot cut him off, and then started braking!!!!! The motorcyclist had to break and swerve into the next lane. I am so happy I didn't see someone die that day! I also almost saw a motorcyclist get hit, but this time it was actually the bikers fault. He pulled out of a parking lot right in front of a car, I almost had a heart attack that time too! I can't stand stupid drivers (i've had plenty of people almost cause me to wreck too), so that's why I decided to get this new bumpersticker. plus, it's something I feel passionate about. Thanks for your response!

I like the first one "Look 2x - Save a life!" gives a more direct meaning and even those who have a hard time understanding a hidden message should understand this one.

Bumper Sticker - Biker bumper sticker
Wow! It looks like that will be the winner! lol. Everyone is agreeing on that one. Now for a second question (and this is how crazy I am when it comes to details), are the words in the right order. Does "Save A Life, Look Twice" sound better than "Look Twice, Save A Life"? Is there one you prefer over the other? Or am I crazy for worrying about this? lol Here is the bumper stick I made. Do you like the design?
