Rain..Rain,,,Rain,,,Do you love Rain?

I love when it rains its the best time to take a nap. you can fall asleep to the sound to of the rain drops on your window. I think it is also a great time to read a book. like when people curl up in the corner of the couch with a over sized jacket or what ever it is called on and sit by the window with a dim light on, and the fireplace is light. Or if your not the calm and relaxing type you could always rent horror movies and have a horror movie marathon. I personally would enjoy a combination of the two, a good mystery or suspense book by the window would be great. Sadly i never have time to do this yet alone read. SO the main point is that i like the rain even though i hate the way it smells after the rain is over.

Hello shenlyenn,I love rain when it comes after summer..it gives joy to everyone after a Hot summer..It also gives a sense of relief to everyone..But Then after some days,I feel like i do not like it..so i think i neither like rain nor hate rain..My Mind always will change after some days...What about you??Do you overall like rain??? I love the rain! Actually as I type it is raining out and thunder storms are predicted. I'm just so syked. I love this kind of weather. I've only seen one flood and it was horrible so I understand your fear. We had a huge flood here a few years back and it was just unbelievable. My mother and brother showed up at my place in the middle of the night because I am located on a hill and they were flooded out. By the next morning, I ventured out to help my daughter with her paper route and it was just impossible. I could not drive my car and the water was well up above my knees. In some places it was up to my waist. Crazy stuff!

Even though I like rain too, it is a little bit scary if you see water raise up, because right now, I hate summer. It is so hot! You would not know what happen if the water raise up. I am so glad that you prepare all yourself from the emergency. He he Like my mom, she is ready for everything. We called her “girl scout” -- always ready for everything.

Raing is romantic, but frankly I don't like raining much because it is so so dirty in my city whenever it rains, especially with pouring with rain. I go to work by a motorbike every day, so that even I wear a rain coat, but I may get wet when going to the office. One thing more is the roads/streets in my city become so so dirty, and may get floating if it is big raining in long time, traffic jam happens also. It is so terrible...and raining is not romantic anymore.

I love rain,but the only fear that engulfs me is the specter of my battered house caving in under heavy showers.If only I had a small house that could face heavy rain.My heart dances with joy and shrinks with fear when the sky gets covered with dark,black clouds portending imminent heavy rain.I watch cows running here and there lifting their tails in the ground just in front of my house,want to go out and dance in the pouring rain drops,but end up kneeling down and praying God to save the house I live in.

Whenever it's raining heavily, I always get nervous that it might flood or the wind might be too strong it will carry some roofs. LOL. But I don't like rain. In fact, I hate it. Even if it's just a drizzle, whenever the skies are the color of grey, it makes me feel gloomy. And when it's cold and everything is wet, it makes me feel uncomfortable. It makes me feel uneasy and hopeless.

I hope it gets lighter for you too. It can be really scary when it rains super hard or it looks like it will flood. We are lucky our house is on the upper part of the slant on our street but our neighborhood has been flooded before. We also had our sump pump break last year and our basement flooded, that was really awful. We had to pull out all the carpeting and padding and tear out most of the dry wall. That was very upsetting.

Rain comes in two moods for me. Where I accept the fact that it happens, because it needs to happen. I am absolutely indifferent with the fact that rain is happening. The rain just comes down, grass grows, trees are green, everything grows outside, and there is moisture in the ground, so everything does not burn up and die. That is fine, but I'm not going to be jumping for joy. And then there are times where the rain just more than overstays its welcome. Where it rains so much, that I am wondering if it is going to end. Where there are floods in certain areas out there, where it is muddy, where there is an absolutely disturbing amount of moisture out there. Rain can be fine, but when it rains past to the point of excess, where you are hoping for the sun, then it is a bad state of the world.

Over the weather forecast, I thought that we gonna have rain over the weekend, but it seems the weather getting chilly instead of raining. It was overcast on Friday afternoon, but not rain though. Anyway, the hot weather is cooling down is good sign of it. I hope that our temperature just keep up between 60 and 70 will be great.

rain is nice, especially in the summer when it is quite hot- but yes, too much rain is not good anymore since it can cause flood. it rained yesterday but it wasn't that strong and only last for about 10-20 minutes, and it rained a while ago which was quite harder, but then it's hot again now..

Mother nature can be very cruel. I love beneficial rain only. Once you have to worry about it it's no fun any more! I think about the agricultural crops and the revenue our state gets from it. Then when the sun comes out and dries up the excess rain I love the smell and the birds chirping. We live in the grain belt and are susceptible to tornadoes and torrential rain. I love the gentle thunder storms in the middle of the night. I love the cool gentle rain that flowers love in April. I love a well installed roof. I love a short lived shower in the middle of the day.

Well,it really hard to anwser your question.For most people rain means romantic.You could imagine a couple hug in rain.I often see this in movies.But rain also brings a lot of inconvienence.You could enjoy your clorful noght life outside. In my opinion,rain is a natural thing.Then we shall treat it equally.

I can't say that I really like rain, but I have grown to appreciate it in the last couple of weeks because things have been a little bit difficult in my country because of the lack of rainfall. People have been banned from using hosepipes in their garden and have also been banned from taking baths instead of showers because there is a strong worry that the water will run out if we don't have a large amount of rainfall very soon. So, even though rain might not be the best thing in the world, we certainly do need it in order to live our lives the way that we want to.

I hate rain in the day but it is fine after mid night because it causes a lot of trouble when everyone is around. People get wet because of it and there will be traffic addcidents as well due to the wet road and therefore traffic jams. If it happens in the mid night, then less people will be affected as people usually stay at home and it is essential to have rain.

now that it has been soooo hot lately, i would like some rain. and yeah it can be scary too when it is so heavy because there are some areas that would get flooded. that is really good of you to be preparing all those things. i think i need to do that too

I love the rain. it feels so fresh and clean and it's calmer and makes me feel adventurous :D .it's my favorite weather i especially love thunderstorms, they are epic at nighttime. rain is beautiful :D i love mexico because theirs always thunderstorms even in the summer :D i really hate sunny days thought, with the freakin sun all burning your face and all sweaty and stuff .
