Commute is sometimes scary

Hey there my-lot friends,
Commuting is a part of life that most of us that does not have cars do most likely everyday of our lives, me i don't have a car so i always commute
going to my gal's house or visiting my mom or dad when he is home in the country, but for me commuting is something to be cautious about
since there are people that you come across with in commutes that you don't know. Here in my country there is always a chance of a mugging
inside a public utility vehicle so when i do ride in late at night i kinda look around at the passengers make them feel a little uneasy somewhat
i kinda do this so that if i unluckily ride on with muggers maybe they will feel intimidated as well, this guys are also humans and they would like
to avoid confrontations as well or victims that would have a possibility of fighting back and getting them. But if pointed with a
knife I'll be glad to give my money and stuff away than to get stabbed right?

i have never had to commute but my brother did when he lived in virginia he could drive so far and into a parking lot where the bus took then the rest of the way.. he worked then at the pentagon.. so i see things on tv people commuting but i never did it before..currently we only have one vehical me and hubby and when he goes to work he drive it and im at home with no car.. but i live in walking distance of a shopping plaza so its cool i can walk and still go place that way i love living in the city.. i would be scared as well if we go ark the car in a parking garage it scares me it is so dim and stuff perfect place to get raped or something i never go in one alone unless its a have too case, then i run lol

Commuting is definitely one of life"s many challenges that humans must face especially in present day modern societies.While commuting has its positives,it also has its dangers as well especially when it is done very late at nights when most commuters are not engaged in travelling.Persons can be subjected to harm from individuals who with ill intent.

You said it honest, but i guess we just have to be vigilant on this matters since we cannot really completely do something about it, but we can avoid it and we can be alert and just take other rides if we feel a little danger about it, anyway thanks for sharing.

Hi Deo... Apart from that, if you may recall the bomb in the bus in Ayala?
We are also wary for the people who goes near our vehicle. There was one instance wherein a guy threw a stone on the bus window, and the poor passenger lost her eye! No kidding... Her eye really slipped out. The victim has a beautiful face but she had a trauma because of this.

hi there,
i always get worried when i commute especially at night. i would also look around when so i can see all the other passengers' faces.
when i feel like there is something wrong, i would get of the jeepney and ride another one, no matter what. even though i have to pay again, but that is even better than be sorry if something happens 
yeah i would rather give up everything i have than be stabbed or killed because they are just material things and they can always be replaced.

Hi there cherish,
Good call gadgets or money is earnable but life or limb is not i just hope that our cops will do a better job one day on protecting the people and catching those men that does horrid things to others, oh there are just days when i wanna be a vigilante when i see rape and murder on TV but hey i am just me and i can only try to protect whom i love i am no hero but if ever that happens and i am on the scenario i think i will be burying people at the end of the day.

commuting is part of my life ever since, going to school, church, market store or even going to the office. Yes its true we don't know what kind our fellow commuters we have everyday. I already experienced riding in same jeepney the hold-uppers or a snatchers. But thank God i never experienced being rubbed. Hopefully it will never ever happen to me. Coz riding in a public vehicle is already part of my life.

Yes. I do commute everyday as my work is far from my house. I have to travel one hour for one way and it is really so uncomfortable most especially especially if I have to go home late. So many things are playing inside my mind. So many what ifs...Honestly, I don't know what will I do if ever I experience those things. I just have to pray perhaps that those things will not happen.

Hi there aries,
I am also like that i commute about an hour but i take the train at times so most of the time i feel safe but when i do take the jeepneys or commute then there goes the the scary part but i just try to be alert and avoid move to another vehicle if i have to if i feel that there is some kind of danger.
