Have you given back to society , i mean have you ever done something for others so that in a way you can return the good blessings that you've been having in yours life, i haven't well i think i haven't, in my head i think i haven't shared enough to others what i have in life i maybe serving people in the hospital but i think that only if i volunteer or give alms to others which i don't really do now much often is a weak kind of giving back so maybe I can try more and you know if you share your blessings (not that you want more but) maybe more blessings will come, so how about you have you given back lately?

this society needs some dedicated volunteers who can provide services without expecting return. i am a member of social welfare society which works for needy people and poor children. i share some time for the society.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. I have been thinking of giving back to society someday. But I want to be consistent with it and commit myself to helping others. I'm looking forward of joining local organizations that aims to improve the lives of unfortunate children. Helping them to overcome poverty through getting good education and inculcate moral values to give them a brighter future. I'd like to be part of CNN's Freedom Project 2012, to end modern day slavery.

In the summer vocation, i usually take part a part as a volunteer in my community. In most case, i will help to take care of children in the community when their parents are still work, or doing some cleaning works for the office building of the community or for the old people home. In most case, old people like young people like me, for we can bring them many fresh ideas and new things happen.

Well,I think we should give back to the society within our financial situation. There are a lot of people in the world who need help. Some people become poor because of physical situation.Maybe they are deaf, blind. We shall help these people. For others, they live in a poor life because they are lazy and they do not want to work.I think we can not give these men money. They are just asking money.

Hm, I did 10 hours of community service (It's kind of compulsory, but still!). I worked with very very unfortunate children who were disabled both mentally and physically. I got told off by the co-ordinators because apparently I wasn't 'enthusiastic' enough. I felt kind of hurt, because I just felt uncomfortable in the environment and didn't know how to go about it. I'm also naturally a quiet person.

I am a big fan of "Pay it Forward"! I am a special education teacher and for the past several years, I have incorporated the concept of "pay it forward" into my classroom- both in terms of what I do and in terms of what I have my students do. We have volunteered in nursing homes and did toy drives for children who are in foster care. In my personal life, I do a lot of volunteer work and foster/adopt children with special needs. I think that I have been blessed in many ways and I think that it is important to give back to people and community. If ever I have a time of need, I would hope people would be there for me, too. It is corny in a way, but Dr. Seuss said in his book The Lorax: "Unless someone like you cares an awful lot, it's not going to get better, it's not." He was right. No matter how bad I feel about what is going on in my life or what is going on in the world, the world is still a beautiful place and I have a lot to give.

Hi Deo! Yes, i had given my share to society and i would like to repeat it again given the strength. I am a member of a choir. Back then, when i was handling the choir, we used to have annual concerts in Philamlife and whatever proceeds we get from the ticket sales, we give it to our beneficiary. Not only does it come in thousands, it comes in hundred thousands! Very special thanks to the members and organizers and to the families who hear mass in our slot.

It is one of my dreams in the future, which I want to be realized. Giving back is a great way to really be a blessing to others as God blessed us. I haven't done much in giving back. As of this time, I am starting to give back to society what I have. I am willing to give my time, talent, and treasure. I have learned that giving starts the receiving. It's a good practice and habit to give even when it may result in inconvenience or pain.
