Being Invisible in Facebook Chat

Facebook have a very nice chat feature called Facebook Chat. But i found sometime, that although i like being able to communicate in facebook to many people, i don't really like to be able to chat directly to every person in my friendlist.
Facebook realize this problem and make a set preferences for us. We can not become invisible to people that we don't want to chat, and become visible to people that we want to chat. I found this function is really helpful and it is make facebook chat really fun. Before i know this function, i always off line in facebook chat since i got many people sending me message every second.
Do you also use this feature in facebook chat. If you are, to whom you usually stay invisible. And tell us why.

Yes I always became invisible on the facebook chat for the persons I don’t like to chat at all.. In my office, I always left my facebook page open, but I don’t checking it everyseconds.. I hate when my friends chat with me and I don’t know about that cause I’m busy with my real job, then they calling me arrogant cause I didn’t reply their chat soon! Very annoying to have friends like that who love to judje anything they want without knowing the truth..

Well yes, that also happened to me. People who give us message all the time should realize, when people not respond, it doesn't mean that they are arrogant. They might have a lot in their hand, they might not in front of the computer or they might don't have the mood to chat. Thanks for sharing friend.

Well i don't think removing a person from our facebook friend will give us a good effect, i think it will be the opposite adhyz82. When people think we are arrogant, and then we remove them from our facebook friend, then it will make them hate us more. I think what cieldz do is wise, since he still have them in facebook friendlist, but still not annoyed by constant message. Off course the best solution is to use invisible to them, instead of using permanent off line. At least, that what i think.

hi there,
i used to be on Facebook chat too, like when i first started to be on Facebook 4 years ago. but then after a few more months, i got annoyed of people sending me messages and then if i reply, they don't bother to message back so it annoys me. but those are just people i know, i don't add people i don't even know.
so now, i am permanently offline, they can send me private messages anyway.

Oh i see, well it seem you don't enjoy facebook chat. It actually happened to me once, when facebook chat always visible to every one. I actually always off line. But when i found the feature of invisible, it make me start enjoying facebook chat because i can chat to people that i want to chat with, not with all of my facebook friendlist.

Oh you do not like facebook chat. So does it meant that you never online in facebook chat. Or you actually online and set your self always invisible. Facebook chat is always connected to facebook chat. So i usually end up checking inbox from facebook chat instead of going to inbox.
