relationship with God

everyone is either emotionally or with some other reason attached with God. If God does not listen your prayer and ignore repeatedly (even i believe in work too) then in such cases what would you do? whether you will be still.....

The problem is that everyone thinks that just cause they asked for something, God will just automaticly answer the prayer when you want it answered and how you want it answered. What everyone forgets is two things... 1. God answers prayer when HE wants to answer your prayer...in his time, not yours. Why? cause often/usually he needs you to go through some trials and learn from it...learn how to do things, learn how to use the abilities he gave you and most importantly...to trust and believe in him. Trust me..I've been going through this one for nearly 3 years now and it is working..I have learned to believe and trust and things are getting better for me and I look back and see my progress and think..."boy was I stupid for doing that" or "now I see why he made me go through that" or" wow..didn't know I was capable of dealing with that" etc. 2. God never said that life would be a bed of roses if you follow him. He intends for you to go through trials. I helps create you into a strong intelligent person. And you can't just lean on him when times get tough and when times are good and fun, forget him. Thats what people do...pray when times are hard and expect answers, but where did you put GOd when things were good? Kind of like a "sunday christian"....go to church on sunday and be all holy...but during the week, anything goes..as long as you are back in church on sunday. Sorry it doesn't work that way. And one other thing...are you doing everything God has told you to do in the Bible? Paying your tithes, helping others, walking the christian life and putting him first? Odds are, that if you aren't, that is why you are not getting answers to your prayers. God doesn't just let you do whatever you want and then bail you out. He expects you to do "your part". He isn't just going to bless you when you ask him to if you aren't blessing him when are supposed to. Maybe you think you want what you are asking for, but if you knew the whole story, you wouldn't want that afterall... God knows that and instead of putting you through what you don't want, he makes you wait till you figure it out that that that isn't what you really want. He knows better than we do! God listens. The biggest problem is that WE don't listen to him! We think we do and think we just know everything and God should do as we ask/want. But that only works when you are doing what God asks/wants of you. God isn't a free ride. You have to do your part. Big thing to remember, that I have been taught recently... It's God's time...not yours. I look back on a few things that I prayed for and didn't get an answer..now I got my answer and realize..boy was I asking for the wrong thing!

Either it was not God's will for your life, or maybe just not now. Maybe you are just not ready as you think you are and he is looking out for you. Keep praying about it.

I think God do not ignore prayers. Maybe most of the time, people just do not hear the answer because we do not like the answer or the answer is not what we expect to hear.

So am I to assume that God should deliver on every request I make??? Hmmm??? Just who is teaching the lesson here?? I think I am going to pout because my yacht with all those dancing girls never showed up.Oh yes, someone else won that megamillion lottery. It just isn't fair. I'm going to pout. On the other have God will give us something that is worth much more,WISDOM. Patience, God will bring it to your door.

God, I know, He's always acting for our own good. He would not grant request that will in the end harm us unknowingly. So, when your request is repeatedly ignored by Him, or if you feel like your request is always being ignored, just think of it as His way of keeping out of harm's way.

Hello friend, I respect you discussion. But I personally don't believe in god. So I have no relationship with god. Have a nice day.

I stil believe in God and trust him so many ways coz for me if God didn't answer to your prayer it only means there's reason behind why it happened and God has it's own way.

You see God always listen to our prayers. He has his own way to pay us rewards for our efforts and He has his own time schedule to bless us. Thinking that our prayers are not being listened, we should not stop praying.
